  • Hi all,

1st October tomorrow, GOTTA get some de-cluttering done. Am working this evening and early tomorrow morning, but will have the afternoon to move/dust/declutter some things to bin/charity shop.

I wonder how many spiders I will make homeless in the process?

Will be back tomorrow with list

That happened to me yesterday - I dealt a spider's web I'd been completely ignoring but didn't want to deal with the spider - so the large black S immediately skuttled down to the floor and hid. This morning it had gone. Which is worse - knowing where it was and doing no harm, or setting it free to skuttle across my face whilst I was sleeping  ? (I could have killed it but it hadn't at that time done me any harm.)

Surely it would be an ex-hoarder! But please don't leave us for the wonderful hoarding ladies - I'd so miss the chuckles you give me with your lists!

lol... I'm not going anywhere and if I thoughtb I had a hoarding problem like some on there I'd torch the house!!! it has to be the easiest way sometimes!

I need to seriously fling though before the fat bloke in red refills my house with child crap

ugh, washing sucks! I am doing enough over this weekend for a laundry. You would never think there are two people in this house, more like twenty from all the washing we have. Mind, the washing isn't the worst bit....the getting of it dry is such a pain. Clothes would be disposable or self cleaning me thinks.:rotfl:

Just downloaded the calendar - looks great and should help me get organised but I'll still need you guys to give me a kick up the proverbial if needed please ;o)

What's this calendar everyone's talking about? Where do I get it from? Sounds like something I could use.

    89. broken dustpan into bin
    90 - 93. picnic plates recycles
    94. plastic bowl
    95. a bag of plastic forks that have gone brittle and yellow
    96. packaging from my can racks to recycling

... got to go into the garage today to set up a long-term food store ... scared, very scared

Later ...._pale_ well, who'd have thunk it, my garage is full of carp. I wonder where that came from ....:o

tbh a lot was paint pots etc dumped by the builders who were sticking the front of the house back on over what was supposed to be the summer.
We have also acquired a long ladder that wasn't there before but that they deny owning.

OUT (as in, piled outside garage for when DH is able to take to the tip):
    10 paint pots,
3 assorted tubs of hard 'stuff',
a handful of bent screws, rusty hinges etc
a bundle of stuck up paintbrushes
a pair of dead shoes with spiderswebs inside
the sun parasol (16 years old and rusted through at the base)
assorted bent struts to build a mis-shappen gazebo
a paint roller that doesn't roll
a three week old newspaper (who goes in the garage to read a paper we don't buy???)
half a dozen bits of wood with nails in
    three bits without nails
    one door from a cupboard
some weird shaped bits of plastic

And I still can't get to the corner I want to use for my kitchen overflow/long term storage area :(

108 in total so far this month. Off to get the cobwebs out of my hair ....(me, swatting potential occupants of the cobwebs).

Why oh why. Do I pick up every free supermarket magazine  it must cost so much to have these printed. I NEVER completely read them, just seem to pile them up for a rainy day. Well we've had loads of rainy days and I've not picked any of them up! Time to bin them :j
