Evening!
Ive found some things im going to be listing on Ebay tomorrow, BNWT DKNY shirt (bought on the CC probably) and a BNWT next suit that the husband has had 2 years i reckon! So decluttering those and hoping to make a bit on them too
Yesterday i sorted out 4 kitchen cupboards and got a full carrier of out of date things (Mustard, bread flour, opened sauces/jams etc), Loads of space now and TBH i only want to replace a few things like Bi carb and baking powder as i bake with the kids alot.
I also bought a load of polymer clay (fimo) stuff to try and get into making things the other month (£15-20 worth) so going to sell that. I would like to have a go with it and i may like it but i dont want a new hobby yet as i dont have time for the ones i already have (Sewing etc) So think i should cut my losses and sell

Morsbags are bags made out of repurposed fabric (curtains, duvet covers etc.) and given away free for people to use instead of plastic bags. You can find more about it on www.morsbags.com. I have my own 'pod' (group) and have made 1321 over the last few years. They're very popular and stronger/prettier/last longer than plastic carriers.
Today we took all the clothes I'd turned out into the charity shop: hubby did moan about me giving them the nylon holdall they were in though and insisted on having it back. (No matter that it had a tear in it, loads of dirty marks, and we have 4 similar Ikea ones in the loft: he said it would come in useful for putting things in.....!). He's worse than me!!
So today's haul:
77. 37 coat hangers to charity shop (now I've reduced my clothes I don't need so many)
78. 1 ornament to charity shop
79. 1 wine bottle gift bag to charity shop
80. 1 more baby spoon to charity shop
81. 1 notebook - tombola I'm running in November
82. 1 mosaic magnet - tombola
83. 1 book I'll never read, brand new - tombola
I'll have to take 1 off my total though, as the nylon holdall came back in. I'll try again next week!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Hi everyone.
Decluttering has really slowed down now I am back at work.
Need more motivation!
Today I will declutter the huge pile of marking that I have brought home from work and hopefully tackle my wardrobe.
Happy decluttering everyone.:)0 -

That's very interesting.I suppose they're easier to make with a sewing machine?
I had a look on the website.I hate plastic bags and how they are still used so wantonly.I very rarely use one.
On a slightly different note,I'm considering stopping a magazine subscription which gets delivered once a week,as it comes in a plastic cover, which of course ends up in the bin.0 -
Quick update from me - was very productive on Thursday, and the house is looking much better. I've cleared half the worksurface of doom in the kitchen, and the bedroom is looking miles better now the floor is clear.
Got new internal doors fitted too, which is brilliant. :j Once I've painted them, I'm getting overdoor hangers for bedroom & kitchen (already have them for understairs and airing cupboards), so aprons and oven gloves and to-be-worn-again clothes (jumpers cardies etc) can be hung up and homed instead of laying around cluttering the place.
Homed & organised
1-6 kitchen cupboards & their contents organised (& some bits chucked out from each)
7 - all paperwork filed
8 - all laundry washed, ironed & homed
9 - all shopping homed
10- floordrobe cleared and put away
11- all tools gathered and put in toolbox
12 – spare chair
13 – box of OH’s files that were cluttering the lounge
Chucked
1 huge bag of shredded documents recycled
2-3 massive bundes of unneeded plastic bags recycled
4 - lots of paper recycled
5- lots of boxes cleared out & recycled (half the worksurface of doom!)

It's little things like this that make all the difference. I've got these hangers on the bathroom and bedroom doors and on the inside of a cupboard door in the kitchen. You can buy them quite cheaply but they make a huge difference if you have a problem with storage.
Has anybody else got any cheap storage ideas that take up little space?
Thanks to everyone for all the inspiration!0 -

I have come to this thread very late, but it is encouraging me to de clutter. 2 weeks ago I got rid of
100 items of clothing CS
4 pairs of shoes
Today they have just been and collected
30 items of clothing CS
10 items of bedding CS
30 playstation games CS
50 Coat Hangers
1 pair boots
Next week I will see what is left in the loft. I know there is some craft stuff up there, and handbags a few more shoes........the list goes on lol.
My wardrobe is now sorted and things put away. I have lost over 7 stone in weight, hence the clothes all going. I will still have more to go soon as I lose more weight. I am having to replace some of them though, or I will have nothing to wear. I replace from oulets on QVC, Outlet M&S and Next sale. I am being very selective cos I know that eventually these things will be too big in less than a year, so nice and cheap.
Good luck everyone xx0 -
Been to the charity shop with some bits (amazingly including 2 books OH actually agreed he didn't need - first books that he's shed in the two years he's lived with me!) and given a book I've just read to a friend who would like it
