I'm really pleased with myself, because despite feeling rubbish today (a day off)I sorted through and filed/ recycled 99% of the paperwork cluttering up the sitting room table.
Plus a few things down to the cellar.
What a difference.:)0 -
I'm going to try and have a 3-day organising/decluttering/cleaning/home-making extravaganza, starting tomorrow! I have the house mostly to myself, but I am feeling quite rough, so let's see how much energy I have tomorrow;)0

Still going very slowly this month, but on Saturday OH finally took some of the stuff to CS, can't count the contents as they've already been listed, but I will count the 2 boxes the stuff was in, as they've left a space in the shed. I will be filling that space with another box and bag of stuff for CS, that I found in the spare room today (again already counted), which will leave a bit of space in the spare room, and hopefully these will go to CS on Saturday. I also found a bag of 20 demo/cheat pc games in the shed, which I was trying to decide what to do with, and decided to send them to CS, so they went with the other 2 boxes.
I had a huge box in the 'cupboard of doom', containing my new work uniform, so today I took the contents out and put them in a drawer, then ripped the box up and put it in the green waste bin. Last week we had to get a new rotary airer, as our old 1 was collapsing, and that has now gone to the dump, obviously I can't count that as it was replaced, but I will count the washing line, as I was going to keep it 'in case I needed it', but decided it wasn't worth keeping and that also went to the dump.

I received the email from ebay re the free listing so the plan for this weekend is to photograph as many items as possible. It's great that we have 9 days so there's not the mad rush to get it all listed on a weekend. Minor decluttering last night of an empty can of deodorant and one of hand sanitiser. This morning I also brought in to work for a colleague a bottle of the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil as it just wasn't working for my hair and the bottle is massive! And 6 Breakaway bars from a multipack, just want them out of the house so I don't eat them!0 -
3-day house sort didn't start too well this morning - no hot water! I was starting to wonder how expensive this was going to be and how long there'd be no hot water, but luckily the plumber came out and fixed in 5 minutes and for free - moneysaving indeed!
Anyway, whole house vacuumed (v small house!;)), except bedroom which is too cluttered to vacuum. Sink and loo cleaned, will clean bath and shower in a mo now the water's on. First laundry load in, now the hot water's back, and sun is shining ready to dry it. Next hot water job is the stack of washing up, then decluttering can commence!0
