    I am REALLY cheesed off

First I was ill then hubby been really badly ill and everything has ground to a halt.

The hanging net things for the spare room are neatly stacked on the floor, the garage still looks worse than the corporation tip (oh and I SOOOO mean that!), my sitting room looks like a junk yard and I am FED UP!

Admittedly, I am crafting papier mache just now, so having to leave that out to dry, also have other craft items made waiting to list on eBay which are cluttering the place up.

Did manage to empty and defrost one freezer so am chuffed with that - just have to refill it now. Got my gift cards from BT so that will pay for that job, I like free money!!:T

Probably won't make my target this month but at least I have managed to clear something so shall try not to beat myself up too much.

Well done everyone, thanks to other posters who keep me motivated and determined to rid my house of the clutter; you're all amazing::A

    Morning everyone,

suzeesu2000 Don't let a small set back get you down, you are doing really well.

Spent 4 hours yesterday with DD1 sorting her bedroom. We have got loads of stuff ready to leave but it won't go till sunday when we are going to a car boot sale so I won't list it yet.

Some things did leave the house yesterday

61 Bag of books to CS
62 Bag of bits to CS
63 Bag of empty jars picked up on free cycle
64 Roller boots (grown out of) picked up on free cycle

    Happy decluttering everyone.:)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good morning! :)

I took a car boot full of stuff to the charity shop after work yesterday. It's quite selfish really - I get a buzz from getting rid of the stuff in the first place and then a second buzz from giving it to a good cause! Then there's the fact that my loft is getting clearer, so I can put other stuff up there so my house is getting clearer...

I used to find it such a chore to get into the loft but yesterday I was up there before dinner after a tiring first day back at work! It's like having another room in the house - it's boarded, carpeted, has lighting and lots of power sockets for radio etc.

I've still got some way to go. I've got a smallish section to sort and then I'm going to list the contents of the boxes (they just have brief labels on them at the moment), and arrange them in an easily accessible way.

Thank you all again for being so inspiring. It's great that a random selection of people writing a few thoughts and lists of junk can inspire each other to achieve so much :T

    Have a good day

suzeesu2000, I'm sorry you've been having a difficult time - but be encouraged - you really are making a difference.

I don't have any transport so thanks to some wonderful friends the following have made their way to the tip:
    1 double mattress
    1 sink plunger
    1 broken food mixer
    1 very old printer
    1 electric typewriter

I answered a freecycle request and have now passed on a set of chimney sweeping canes - though our conversation ended with the collector trying to persuade me to do my own chimneys (and have them back) !

    Also:
    1 mattress cover to bin
    1 pr socks to bin

BIG HUGS to Silentsister and Moorhen for being lovely:A

Have found my Mojo, it was hidden under the material in my bedroom:rotfl:

Have found a load of die cutters which I shall be listing on eBay soon, and also a big box of floppy discs - was wondering if I should keep them as they are antique now:). Shall be cutting them and then binning them. Am back on a roll...

Am currently decluttering some kitchen ingredients into apple & sultana turnovers for the freezer, yummy!

I'm pleased you have found your mojo. :D
Sometimes-often, it is difficult to get motivated. I have just worked lots of shifts with no day off until yesterday. My DD said she was going to start sorting out the loft (then shouted me to help her) and my OH suggested sorting out the bedroom together. I so wasn't feeling any of it-I just wanted to chill (after I'd posted out a couple of ebay items I sold over the weekend). I ended up helping DD and OH and by half past 9 felt so tired and had a terrible migraine - I was in bed before 10pm. I'm back at work today, so I'm trying to negotiate having friday off. I've told them if I get the day off I just want to wind down and recharge my batteries.
Obviously I feel much better that some jobs got done and without their input I wouldn't have done anything yesterday :( because I just feel so tired and drained atm.

(((hugs))) to all who need or want one. xx

It's horrid when you feel tired and drained and especially if you know you have stuff still to do.

Hope you manage to get Friday off and have a lovely restful day xx
