 Hello Miss Dotty, I am also on a mission to declutter this summer, have made good progress so far. I have made a list of all the areas that need sorting to keep me on track. Only have two rooms left in the house and then will start on the sheds of doom.

Hope every enjoys the rest of the evening x

I have fitting in my decluttering in short bursts between Olympic Events!!
    This weekend -

    3. 8 draws sorted and rubbish binned / recycled.
    4. 3 bags of paperwork shredded / recycled.

Have found a chair in the loft and promised to recover it for DD2 - so hopefully that will be gone by next week.

    Morning all,

Was hoping to take rubbish to the tip today but don't think my back will withstand anymore heavy lifting.

Going to declutter kitchen draws today and if the painkillers for my back kick in for long enough will try and do kitchen units as well.

For the first time in a long time I am starting to like my house again, now that it has less clutter (with help from this thread) and is cleaner (thanks to the flyladies).

Hope everyone has a great day x

Lovely to be liking your house again Frugalgal. I got my downstairs pretty good, then decluttered from upstairs and brought down lots to ebay, went on hols and left stuff around and generally let it get bad again. It definitely feels much better the other way! So we need to spend a little time making the downstairs 'feel good' again before tackling the upstairs. On the plus side, getting bids for the ebay stuff.

Good morning all. I failed this challenge in July really but that is because I was ill. I'm now recuperating so I'm determined to make up for lost time. I'm going to aim to forget about July completely and aim for 100 things for August.

Possession, it is easy for the clutter to begin to build up. I decided to car boot all my stuff, just to get it out of the house. I know I could have probably got more by selling on ebay, but had no where to store it outside of the house (the sheds are full of tat that needs sorting).

I have just taken one cluttered area at a time and before I knew it a whole room was clear. Everyday I make sure that the cleared areas stay clear (old habits die hard):D

    Good luck with your decluttering.

    Morning everyone,

Just back from 2 weeks away and ready to start my August decluttering.

I was really surprised at how easy it was to hit 100 items last month but I suppose that the second month is going to be a lot more difficult as most of the easy stuff is now gone.

I am determined to give it a good try!

    Happy decluttering everyone.:)
