Bedroom blitz, day 3 - the next bookcase :(

    71. old PTA letters (he's been out of school 4 years:rotfl:)
72 -75. tatty books to recycling
76 - 81. Egyptology books to Oxfam book centre
    82 - 83. items for CS
    84. another lot of dead receipts, old envelopes etc from in between pages of books & stacked on desk
    85. a dead computer mouse
    86. wedding hat -must go to CS as it won't be worn (Why was it on the desk (in box) in the first place?)

Relocated several items to the right place in the house.

Today's mystery: WHY was there a tub of salt in the bookcase

Off to play with my patchwork & rug making boxes that "somehow" ended up under the desk :o.

    Thanks for the inspiration :T

ziggy so glad to hear you had a restful break, only 4 days to go before the next one then :rotfl: You sound brighter, I hope you are feeling it, keep your pecker up chuck xx

I am thank you, think it was just what I needed and managing to spend a big part of the day outdoors was a really big help.

So kind of you to think of me :A

It's certainly not just you. On the other hand we have some days when we can reap the benefit of those 'silent' days and then we seem to have taken great strides. Hope this afternoon (or tomorrow) is like that for you.

I've now moved 2 of the 3 beds and all of the bags, bedding, cushions etc - but why do I always wait until it's absolutely necessary before I work out how to do something?? Consulting my list, I'm 80% there :j

Having a great day today. Started by decluttering a drawer under the bed, shredded lots of paperwork and sorted out a bag of stuff that can be kept in school rather than under my bed. So thats 2 carrier bags of shredded paper (compost bin) and a bag of paper for recycling as well as a few items of rubbish.

Moved onto my part of the wardrobe and have bagged up lots of clothes for charity - I have lost 2 stones so some of my clothes just don't fit me, some I have slimmed back down into but am unlikely to wear so they too have gone in the charity bag.

Moved onto my bedside drawers and got rid of some underwear that has seen better days.

Also have 2 pairs of shoes for charity. Phew!!!! I then moved onto the bedding drawers. We have so many odd pillowcases, worn sheets etc. We have saved some for dust sheets but the rest are off to charity.

Just stopped to make tea but might manage a bit more later. Then I'm having a long soak in the bath!

    Have fun everyone.

Just putting my head over the parapet to say, my house is looking like a tip! We've just come back from honeymoon yesterday, and added stacks of laundry to the remains of the wedding planning mess! Lots to sort out - four loads of laundry done today, and starting to find homes for things, but currently can barely move in the lounge. If we can clear some of this mess, we can put the rest of our cards up!

    Evening all

Not much flinging here, managed 2 things:

    61. Book returned to niece.
    62. Book given to nephew.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening x
