Good morning all, a brand new day!
Today is a big one for me. I have said I would store furniture for a friend between house moves, so I need to empty out quite a full room. It's going to involve moving lots of beds, mattresses and piles and piles of linen, so hopefully I'll be fitter this evening than I am now. I've decided to use the timer and do 15 min bursts - in fact the first one happened during the night when I was trying to plan it all out. So far I've stripped two beds, (wm now on), and started to clear the hallway through which the beds are having to travel. Thought I'd post on here before getting through too much so I can encourage myself.
The friend's furniture arrives about 7pm.0 -
My 15 min bursts are working. I love lists, so I made a very detailed list (in the middle of the night), and have now achieved 24% of the tasks! Only the hallway looks clear so far but I know my progress. Now for a cuppa break.0

Morning all,
I've made a real effort not to let the mail build up on the work tops in the kitchen. I know it's sounds quite pathetic but I try to open the post AND then throw all the envelopes away and shred anything immediately if not needed rather than my usual thinking of I'll do that later. At least the kitchen looks tidier.
I've read that some of you are selling on eBay so I've been popping over to that site to see what's for sale. There's so much there I would really really like especially some of the furniture but what would I do with mine? I would end up with an even more cluttered looking home...... Do any of you ever wish you could throw away all your carpets, curtains and furniture away and start all over again? Oh well I do.
Must try harder this week. Bye for now, keep up the good work.0 -

I would feel so guilty. I always upcylcle and make do, I've just painted a mirror rather than replace it, I would much prefer to buy the one from John Lewis I fell in love with.0
