I've decluttered my computer and deleted 285 gigabytes of photos.
Have to admit we still haven't tackled the Wardrobe of Doom yet, but the children's rooms are looking so much better.

  • 9. A bag of old vinyl records sold
    10. Crate out for re-use by fruit & veg company
    11. Tatty knickers (tut tut) in the bin

The rest of the vinyl I don't want I'll take into the shop next week as we get the occasional request.

My next task is the CDs and DVDs - oh, and the rest of the videos.

Keep up the good work folks!

Having a good Friday thus far. Hubby has sorted through the bits I left out for him "please just put what you dont want on this end of the bed before bedtime and I will do the rest" worked! Plus changed the curtains in the front bedroom, finally:T and have done two loads of washing.

    1 - ruined baking tray - bin
    2 - ruined wire rack - bin
3 - bag of shredded paperwork - recycling
    4/5 - two jumpers cs
6/7 - two pairs jeans cs
8/10 - three pairs trousers cs
11 - one fleece jacket cs
    12/14 - three shirts cs
    15 - ruined cardboard box - recycling

We are STILL eating our way through the freezers but I am hopeful that we can defrost one at least next week. So far, all going to plan:eek: which I find quite scary.

marmiterulesok, I am so with you on the pieces of paper and card. I cleared a huge area by just checking and binning/recycling. It makes an enormous difference when they've gone :)

Thanks,I'm determined to 'stay on top of it'.

Glad you got those illegal transactions sorted out-a scary thing to happen.

Today I have done very little in the way of decluttering.

    Let me see:

    29 one glass bottle recycled.
30 gardening gloves back to cellar

I think I just needed a quiet day before going back to work tomorrow, working Sat and Sun and work is depressingly and relentlessly heavy going just now.

Not a lot of decluttering going on, we have been painting today. DS did give me two out grown tops though for the cs. DS1 has been doing some tidying and has a bag of rubbish to go. The weather forecast is not good for tomorrow so the painting (outdoors) maybe put on hold, if so, I'll restart the decluttering.

I'm glad you got a quieter day today, but sorry about the work stuff. I just hope the weekend is better than you are expecting.

3 books to recycling (This is definitely slowing down but I'm aiming at a realistic 3/day.)

I went through my Presents box and removed things that no longer seem like a good idea - so 7 items to the cs basket. It also means I can put the presents in a smaller space and free up part of a cupboard for linen. I will decant about three Family History boxes into that empty box tomorrow, and be able to put those back into the garage. OK, so that's the plan for tomorrow coming together!
