Good grief Pigpen I thought my decluttering was problematic you have decluttered so much it makes me want to get rid of more.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money

104. umbrella totally useless - in the bin
105. stale breadsticks - in the bin
106. broken picture - in the bin*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
1 rusty trivet to bin
2 books to cs
2 books to recycling
1 table cleared
1 basket emptied
I've put a basket at the foot of the stairs for the weekly offerings to cs
Decluttering I certainly didn't want to do - I have a wood pigeon dying in the back garden. I've sought advice and now have a box protecting it from the local cats. It doesn't seem to be in much pain, I just hope it goes soon.0 -

I hope that its suffering is over.silentsister wrote: »
Yesterday:
1 flat - offer accepted
I know this sounds thick, but are you saying that you've sold your flat?!If so-congratulations!
I didn't get a chance to post yesterday,but managed:
-1 large atlas to cs
-1 empty plastic bottle binned
-1 curtain pole to cellar
-4 magazines recycled
-various paper packaging recycled and loose recipes put in folder
-1 packet of disposable cloths for waxing the parquet floor binned as dryed out. There were 2 left.
I also waxed the parquet floor, and had to remove and sort so many items to do this that the place had a general tidy and declutter as well.:D
303/200 now I think.0 -
marmiterulesok, I picture your cellar as having VERY stretchy walls! (But very neat contents!)
Yes, after having the flat on the market for about 5 months I've finally accepted an offer, so I'm hoping everything's going to go through smoothly. I don't think being in the Olympic area made a difference, well maybe a little!
I've not been out to check on the wood pigeon - each time I've done that, it becomes distressed so I thought it better to stay away.0 -

My cellar space could be neater!
That's great on the sale of your flat.Hope it goes smoothly.
Oh poor thing.Best to keep away I suppose so as not to distress it.Do you know how it's injured?Has it broken a wing?Noboby around who could wallop it with a big stone, just to put it out of its misery?
Years ago one of the cats half killed a rabbit and I decided to kill the poor creature with a big stone rather than leave it suffering.I think that the shriek I let out as I hit it might also have sent it on its way.I don't know if I could do that again.0 -
It looks as though it's been attacked and there are areas without any feathers. There's no-one else here, and I couldn't bring myself to end it - though I'm praying it dies quickly.0

Thank you for your kind comments.. I just wish it wasn't so easy to find stuff to fling.. this house is full to the rafters with crap.
I am torn over the treadle sewing machine and the grandfather clock... what do I do with them?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

The clock needs to go I think.. it annoys me so I don't ever wind it up..
the treadle... is beautiful but useless .. it does work fine but I have a monster modern one so unless we suddenly run out of leccy it too is useless for anything other than looking pretty.. but.. I like it and would like it on display..
