I still can't say I've finished the grot box - though it is now down to the size of a small basket, so I'll claim that in the next couple of days. Otherwise:
1 decluttered area
3 letters forwarded
1 newspaper to friend
1 very long overdue letter sent off
10 books to recycling
1 book rest to cs
1 gift bag to cs
1 scrap book to cs
1 wall hanging to cs0 -
You have done stunningly well silentsister :T:T:T

A few small things today: some lids to tupperware I no longer have, two pairs of OH's trousers that were ripped, a bag of bits left over from some filing cabinets, and some paperwork. The kitchen's looking much better now though!0

Had another session up in the loft just now. Sorted more out for a car boot and I will Ebay quite a bit after September. A full black bag of rubbish has gone out and four bottles of old shampoo in the bathroom cabinet that has not been used in aeons has also been binned.
Five glass ramekins (those that you get the Gu desserts) have gone in the bin as well. One section of the loft looks clearer and I shall have another session up there again maybe on Monday! Some old boxes up there to get through. Once the Ebay stuff has gone along with the car boot items then I will be able to start seeing allot more clear space.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Iv'e still got loads to do but had one of those breakthrough moments today where i could actually see the fruits of my labour. Also seem to have found a bit of a ruthless streak and am finding it easier to get shot of junk that I have sentimentally hung on to for years. Very little of it is the kind of stuff I could imagine selling on ebay/car boot, so I'm going to save myself the hassle and take it straight to the CS. My time is more valuable than the little money I could make trying to sell it IYSWIMknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

I'm impressed - I seriously struggle to declutter books
Me tooThe thought of getting rid of 1000 books makes me _pale_
I can't even say declutter rather than get rid as I can't get my head around books being clutter
Anyway...
101: broken whisk - in the bin (I'm cross cos it was a relatively expensive wa$trose one) but not repairable, sadly
That's it for today as I was called into work early so was unable to get the stuff I wanted to go ready to go....
But there's always August!!

I so agree with you on this. I've probably given away thousands of pounds worth of crafting supplies and 'stuff' over the past couple of years. Had a little dabble on Ebay but it was a long drawn out process and if stuff didn't sell it was relisted. Did make a few pounds but to be honest I'd rather have it out of the house.
Been busy over the last couple of days, but still managed to find stuff we could live without:
131. Loads and loads of pens - can never find a working one when I want one, so bought a new pack of 12 and rescued a few others to keep
132. Fabric - made 5 morsbags and let them loose into the world
133. Make up bag - far too big for my 1 lipstick and 1 eye liner
134. Old make up - don't use it so going to homeless shelter
135. 2 pomanders that have lost their smell - charity shop
136. Half a leather-look luggage label... bin (got loads of these so don't need half a one!)
137. Bag of cotton wool balls - going to homeless shelter
138. Old pair of prescription glasses - going to recycle at opticians
139. Plastic box used to keep pens in
140. Pencil box
141. 1/2 roll wallpaper found in cupboard under the stairs - recycle bag
142. Rubber shower mat that ripped this morning - bin
143. 3 packs of blank cards - going to various organisations for craft
144. Loads and loads of envelopes for cardmaking - same as above
145. Necklace I never wear - charity shop
Still going strong.... got rest of craft supplies and all my clothes to do yet, so that should keep me busy till the end of the month!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

wanting to do a bit more but have reached a standstill. Hubby has been poorly all week and is still not good, am waiting for him to be better so he can repair the shelf in the bedroom cupboard so I can put a box up there, then I also want to go through three bags of his clothes which he has not worn or worried about in twelve months to my certain knowledg
everyone is doing really well. am surprised as i thought i would struggle to find 100 things and here i am at 400+ things gone from my home....brilliant! Am really looking forward to August:TSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal
