Some serious decluttering going on here. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm so busy reading the thread and haven't done much myself :o
I did get rid of some things but nowhere near your numbers. Slowly but getting there...

    4 - 2 pair of pumps - ebay
    5 - dd winter coat - ebay
6 - reusable nappy and new boosters pads - ebay (naughty I know :o, but easier to sell there than the other sites I found)
7 - dd's sandals - returned to tesco, too wide)
8 - curtains - returned to tesco ( I kept buying only to find their unsuitable or changed my mind :o)
    9 - elc easel - collected
10 - wallpapers - up in the wall of DS room
11 - mobile bill statements 2010-2011 - will be shredded as soon as I get the shredder from the garage

I didn't think I cleared as much. It's free listing this weekend on Ebay so will be listing loads. No progress on my sofa cover making cos I couldn't find the fabric, it's in the garage somewhere buried deep. I've changed it to turn the king size duver cover into a living room curtains :o.

I love reading what you've decluttered, gives me an idea what to tackle next.
Have a good afternoon all! Enjoy the weather! xx

    adding:
    12 - dd's fleece jumper - recycled
    13 - dd's dress - recycled
14 - assortment of bits from 2 boxes of bedroom essentials - bin
    15 - old dress - recycle
    16 - old top - recycle
17 - old knickers and bras - recycle

Another busy day at work,so won't be doing much decluttering this evening.I have found a pile of pay slips dating back to 2002,so they'll be shredded. So that's 188/200.

I'll be back on track tomorrow-a day off.I've already got a few ideas for what's next.:)

    You're all doing really well!:j

  • 45 old coat hangers to hanger recycling bin @ Tesco - do any of the other supermarkets have them, because I've not seen them anywhere else.
So up to 101/100 in two days!
Also loading up another cash for clothes bag with all DD's old clothes - about the only good thing about her growing so quickly! Plus, as I am doing Slimming World I have had to get rid of various clothes that gape too much now, which was most of the last cash for clothes bag I filled.

Not a lot happened here today: had someone viewing the house at 10.30 so spent a frantic 2 hours before that tidying and hoovering. After that didn't really feel like doing much. It's not often that we get a whole Saturday to ourselves at home, so we started a job that I've been nagging hubby to do for weeks - painting the garage door. We bought the paint weeks ago as part of the 'spruce-the-house-up-before-it-goes-on-the-market' campaign but the weather hadn't been nice enough to do it and get the paint dry! He's done the first coat - looks 100 times better, a nice Oxford blue. Now I have to fulfil my part of the bargain, and make the curtains for the breakfast room that I bought the fabric for weeks ago as well. So, today's outage:

    101. Pot of paint used up on garage door
    102. Fabric used to make curtains
    103. 2 packs of curtain wire used on above curtains
    104. Bucket of weeds on next door's skip (with their permission)
    105. Old brush from dustpan and brush set - skip
    106. One of my favourite tops - fabric recycling. (My own fault, I wore it while helping paint the garage door and got paint all down the front, which won't come out).

Made a start on decluttering the rest of a bottle of port - having a glass of port and lemon as I type. Won't count this though as there's still 1/2 bottle to go so will save till I've finished it up.

Still working my way through the list of 'to do' jobs and 'to declutter' list. I really love the thought of being able to move house without paying for all the clutter to be transported there as well.

Enjoy the sun everyone and keep on decluttering!
Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
