    Morning everyone,
Havent done much decluttering this week as I lost my job at the start of the week. Only found out Monday and finished on Tuesday, the business closed down.Felted so sorry for the owner she had the business for years.

So after feeling sorry for myself, I will now get back to decluttering again.
Only this time I will try and sell as much as I can first, then give to CS.
    Everyones doing so well:)

I think a lot of time storage of the stuff you want to get round to selling etc. can be quite depressing esp. if you have a lot of it but you see it all the time/have no where to put it.

 you've obviously been to my flat then! Oddly enough, I'm irritated more and more by being able to see stuff through the see through storage boxes and the front of the wardrobes!

    Anyway, back to the "outs"

Recycled: 3 pairs socks, 1 tshirt and 2 pairs of trousers.
Charity Shop: 2 cd's, a DVD box set, one book, 2 packs of cards, hand cream, 2 bits of bric a brac, 4 magazines and a large mug. (20/100)

Posted: A parcel of DVD's to friend in the States and a birthday present (25/100)

Well I started a Debt Free Wannabe thread so I thought I would now start a declutter thread as well.
Something to motivate me to clear up the house and tidy up. It is constantly a mess, I blame my better half for being a hoarder - although I wouldn't tell her that. :)

I will put in some tasks to complete when I remember - ranging from the smaller to the bigger. You never know maybe I will get somewhere...

    Small jobs done today:
    • One set of washing cleaned and put out to dry (on radiators as pouring down)
    • Put on dishwasher
    • Sort out a couple of threads here on declutter and debt free
    To do:
    • Make tea, and clear up afterwards
    • Clean up kitchen
    • Hoover? Not sure I will be that good.
    • Empty dishwasher
    Other:
    • Clear out 2 drawers in bedroom (that's a start)
    • Maybe I will think of some others later
I find there is something very therapeutic writing lists I only hope I stick with things and keep everything going :)

Sorry to hear your news Sunshine4 :( It's tough out there. Declutter for cash :money: to keep you going until your next job xx

Ziggy I hope you are doing OK too xx

    51. Pair of DS's trainer socks which I think were once white  - in the bin
    52. Handbag* which now has tears and little rips in it - in the bin

*Now I will have to go to my stash of handbags and choose another one for daily use, summery but suitable for heavy showers. I promise I will go through the contents of the box and declutter any I know I will never use.

Carry on the great work chaps :p

Why not use some ironed out old wrapping paper or pretty fabric to line the boxes? If you have neither, use a black sack then you will just see a plain black instead of your storage stuff. :)
