Hi All
I've not had time to do much decluttering lately but today I've v.pleasedwith myself. Sorted all the paperwork, yes including bills, filed some, dumped some and shredded some. Even cleared all the junk mail :j
Why oh why do we get so much junk mail. At one point I used to save it all up in a carrier bag and put it in the mail box! If Royal Mail or the Post Office are allowed to push take away menus, double glazing leaflets through my door then there's nothing wrong in me giving them back to them.
I've set myself a bit of a challenge, to clear one drawer a week. I started with my makeup, why did I keep all those lipsticks and foundations that really aren't my colour???????0 -
Today I've managed:
-more paper to shred and recycle
-1 cup and saucer
-1 bowl
-1 ornament
-1 large glass storage jar
-1 cooling rack
All to the cs.

Decluttered 2 entire car loads of stuff from the garage to the tip, unfortunately including noodles from AF a little while ago which had gone rancid. Yuck. There's now much more space in there for me to fill, LOL!0

I'm not sure if this one counts as a declutter but one red carpet ready for the tip :j
Ive NEVER liked that carpet, hubby chose it. Good warm colour but not practical as shows any crumbs etc. also being velvet finish had to constantly hoover it.
I know it's a waste and should probably put it free cycle but the quicker it's gone the better. I'm keeping the underlay for the garden.0 -

Of course it counts!;)
Nothing today from me.I've been at work and am quite tired.
PS I have three brollies, but I only use one really.I'd rather keep hold of the others though.Hopefully I'll never have to fork out on another...
I have repaired the one I use twice when the thread attachment to one of the struts has gone.I remember in the past binning a brolly because of that.:o
Eight brollies is quite impressive!0 -
I've been busy here today. I went through my daughter's room and got a bin bag full of stuff to throw away, and identified several toys and games that can go to the charity shop/friends kids when we get back from holiday.
I found the cover of a brolly, but the brolly itself is long gone, blown inside out and broken in a storm.Trying to keep in budget.
