that's me all over - I'm always gonna do this, gonna do that & usually end up doing very little, if any, of it.
I acquire so much stuff that I'm-going-to-do-something-to, that it gets to the stage that no-one can find anything in the house so the whole lot goes to the CS because I don't have time to list it.
Unfortunately, it's not just my home that needs de-cluttering, it's the attic, the garage, the shed .........& even (i hate to say this) the wendy house!
I need a big fat kick on the bum0 -

That was me yesterday. Saturday i couldnt face it. Sunday afternoon i made myself sit down and photograph/list stuff. It takes time to list stuff and i lost a good 3 hours listing, checking and rechecking everything. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I'm back in after a busy week, posted 8 parcels since I was last on. Lots of items listed on eBay and got many more to list, it really is never ending but it feels good to post every item. I'm doing it quite geeky I have a spreadsheet with exactly what each item was made after fees and postage. I'm £284.72 in profit so far and don't miss any of the stuff :j:j:j
I've run out of free listings so going to wait until tomorrow to list more.
The lady bought the tablet! Another £80 to add to the spreadsheet :T0 -
Oh dear i failed miserably at getting rid of my 100 items this month
however i have sorted out the garage chaos into something resembling order and have emptied a huge amount of stuff out of the spare room (out to the garage lol) maybe i should say i am going to remove 100 things from the house into the garage.........i an do that easy

I would say any item out/homed is progress. The way I see it is that it took years to clutter my house up so it's going to take a while to declutter it too. I need to sell as much as I can because I desperately need the money! A lot has been given away to charity shops, via Facebook and to friends etc as well. I find with every item I get rid of I feel a little bit better.0

I had to come back on here as I was tempted to sign up for a decluttering group that wanted payment to join. It is ridiculous that I almost declutterd £20.
The best thing is to write a list of what is going out of the house then I can better see my progress. Thankyou Endless for the idea. Hoping it will motivate me more.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I am going to see if I can declutter 100 this month, have lurked on here in the past & occasionally posted.
In April I concentrated on sorting paperwork as the four filing cabinet drawers were so stuffed I had not been able to get anything more in it so new paperwork was adorning every surface.
3 of the four drawers are sorted, papers shredded so 1 more drawer to go & then I can start filing recent items.
I also need to go through all clothes & the 2! blamket chests full of towels bedding etc & I know we only ever use the top few items.
I have just put three large items on freecycle so that will make a big difference if they go.
Off to declutter a hot cross bun I found in the freezer & then do yet more shreddingDeclutter 2023 110/520
