ive somehow managed to shift 2/3 fair size bags in the last couple of weeks and am having a good root around plus arm twist of myself to shift anything else still lurking around.
currently have some cd's and a plastic fishtank waiting to go the cs, still having a good rummage before i take it .
im sure it breeds when im not looking though? ive also had to mention to people that i dont really want/need anymore nickknacs/ornaments/books plus other bits as i end up with so much im inundated.

I took three bags of clothes to the CS and half filled a bag for clothes for cash as I have listed them multiple times on ebay and it is definitely time to let go.

I really need to get on with this decluttering malarkey, it's never ending!

    Ain't that the truth, lol!

OH and I have spent most of this afternoon putting our new kitchen tv on the wall, blooming nightmare, but finally got it sorted and it's still on the wall so far, lol! Put the boxes from the tv, aerial and bracket in the shed for now (smaller ones inside the tv box to save space), as I like to keep the boxes at least until they go out of warranty.

I went through my jewellery box this morning and took out 3 brooches, a pin badge, a keyring, a necklace and a bracelet, and put them in CS box, also put a dressing gown (decided I don't need 3) and a petticoat in there. My dad recently lost his wallet, so OH has kindly given him one of the 3 of his that he doesn't use, so he doesn't have to buy another one, and it gets rid of a bit more of our clutter.

Wow, you've all been busy :T

I've got rid of a lot of junk, so I'm doing something different to de-clutter. May will be my "making money month" so my clutter will be earning me some cash.

    Ideas so far include:
    • I've listed 20 items on Ebay already (plod, plod ... must do it faster)
    • I'm going to take the bedding, towels, curtains etc plus the unwanted clothes to a place that buys them. They also take handbags and shoes - so I'll have another dig about. The nearest one gives £3.50 for 10kg
    • DH [STRIKE]will[/STRIKE] must take the old radiators to the scrapyard
    • I have a very few gold bits eg odd earrings & a broken locket that I can sell
    • When we were in the attic last week I started filling some car boot sale boxes, so I'll keep going with that, aiming for mid to late May.
I'm aiming for £100 as a start ...but the more the merrier :o
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

I am ebaying for England at the moment. All bits and peices from round the house. I am hoping by this time a week tomorrow i will be able to see my desk for all the junk piled on top of it.

    Onward into May!

The end of last week I posted out 40 eBay parcels over 2 days, the people queuing at the PO were not happy with me :rotfl:

This morning I have decluttered a pair of old socks too grubby to wear, a broken glass, a holiday brochure, a bunch of kids clutter eg doodles and sweet wrappers!

I have one more eBay sale to post on the school run later so my total has reached 182/200 which I am really happy with, especially all the eBay sales this month, the cash has come in very handy for my bills and new summer stuff for the kids.

Hopefully may will be equally as successful to help raise some holiday funds :)

I will have one last blitz this evening to try to reach my 200 target:)
