DS's 4th birthday today, so lots more stuff coming in. Most of his presents are small and won't take up much space. He is very good at giving away some old toys to make space for new. We had a clear out last week so hopefully that will even things out0 -
Hello!
I am back again with gusto after Feb took a hold due to DH nearly being made redundant so all hopes of moving house were put on hold. Its confirmed he's losing some hours but not enough to dent a new mortgage app so its all go again here.
Have had a week off to get the house decorated for a valuer to come round next week - nothing major just a touch of paint over walls where I'd thought it a good idea to put up Xmas decs and then never filled the holes in
So this week I've got rid of:
1 and 2 - Two bags of garden rubbish (they'd been sat outside for 2 years so the bags had decayed. Got some lovely mulch from it though and the rest went to the tip for the compost people)
3, 4, 5 - Makeup brushes that I must have bought when I was 12!
6,7,8, 9 - Hair products that give me an allergic reaction (maybe cos they are sooooo old!)
10 - All OH's PC Gamer mags (he calmly informed me I could recycle them. Would probably reach 100 with these alone but figure I'd be cheating here so will class them as one)
11, 12 and 13 - 3 pieces of clothing not of good enough quality to send to a charity shop
14, 15, 16 - HUGE cardboard boxes from OH's PC (no, not the one he currently has but the one before that?!)
17 - Big bag of recycling
I think that's it for now.
Glad to back with you lot again as I was starting to miss the tallying up!How long til pay day?

I've ditched half a dozen old tins and baking sheets today. All warped and no good to anyone. Step dad taking them to recycling centre.
Decluttered the kids to their gran's again, so I can tackle the cupboards in the morning.

Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Just had a good fettle round downstairs:
18 - A necklace (CS Bag)
19 - Two bracelets to go with aforementioned necklace (CS Bag)
20 - A handbag bought when I was about 16 and used once (CS Bag)
21 - A biscuit jar that is too small to hold any form of biscuits  (CS Bag)
I'm using the thought process of "If we move, do I want to move this with us?" Its working quite well so far. Even OH has employed it.How long til pay day?

This is the bit I need to follow as we should (hopefully) be moving this year or early next year.Declutter 2025 in 2025 0/20250
