Ooooh........I might just join you on that! I can start off with
You'll miss her really!
I will of course, but I can use her bedroom to store stuff temorarily while I clean and declutterI sorted all of the children's schoolwork, by putting boxes onto her floor, and then segregating all their stuff. I then filed and catalogued each boxm before putting them into the loft for the children to take once they have homes of their own :T
I'm planning the same technique for clothing and kitchen wareYorkielass wrote: »100 things in January sounds great idea Penelope Penguin - numbering what you're getting rid of & where it's gone has helped people in the past too.
So three of us in the challenge so far :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
I'd like to join in too
I do have a lot to get rid of but generally would just like to have everything organised. I spent yesterday sorting paperwork and feel so much better for it. Have a nice new filing folder so hope that keeps me organised. I do have a very large box of paperwork going back to the 90's that I need to work up the courage to shred. I really don't like getting rid of things! Oh, I'm also a crafter and have a room full of stuff I might need one day.
Ditch 100 in January - 1. Some paperwork. 2. Old Sheet.0 -
OK i'll join. Is it chucking away - or do selling or charity shop count?
Be back with todays later.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Didn't get anything done today. Don't think I can commit to doing something every day as I'm often busy with work and hardly have time for the normal houseworky stuff.. but decluttering is deffo a goal for this year! and I will definately shift a load of stuff.. mark my words. :-)0

Does anyone wish to join my Ditch 100 in January ChallengeThat's about 3 things a day
I'll join in PenPen!!! Been sorting out some shelves in cupboard and got rid of:
1. old cous cous
2. box of tea bags that were out of date (2007)
3. bag of currants I found at the back that were, shall we say, past their best!
Also been through my medicine boxes and got around 10 bottles of medicine and boxes of tables that were out of date. I'll take them to the Pharmacy for them to get rid of. So I'd say that takes me up to 13 now!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
