  • Right I'm gonna get off my botty and do a major tidy up as it is really needed! Got a lift arranged for charity shop and tip for tomorrow so should sort it all out tonight.

That's a great incentive! I find that things like that really help to motivate me. Hope you've had a good de-cluttering day!

Only one item to report today but I'm aiming to do more later.

    197/100 ditched in February :)

  • Not posted over the weekend, but have been slowly clearing bits and pieces as I go around the house. So...

    27. Ancient bottles of random stuff from the bathroom
    28. Wooden frame that used to have cardboard drawers
    29. Old broken headboard
    30. Broken CD player
    31. Broken water pistols
    32-34 E-bay parcels
    35. Leftover old cheese
    36. Old school uniform - passed on
    37. Papers from computer desk
    38. Old packets from the larder, found whilst looking for maple syrup!
    39. Empty bottle

This thread is getting really addictive - I go round the house actively looking for things to declutter! Thank you!

We went out for lunch today to the local carvery (2 for £10 with voucher), as it is MIL's birthday, so not much decluttering done, but before we went I sorted the mess of newspapers/free mags from beside the couch, and got rid of a carrier bag full to recycling.

So I finished sorting the airing cupboard and decided my quilt covers were pretty threadbare so I treated myself to 2 new sets (cover & pillowcases) in Asd@ for £7.50 each :) The old ones haven't left the house yet so I won't count them.
