Yay can announce I've completed my 100 woo!!! :j

Decided that instead of going to bed I would just have a quick look in the junk cupboard in the kitchen. After pulling everything out, cleaning it and throwing half of it away it looks fab! Dreading when OH gets up in the morning though and cant find his keys!! :D

97 - happy birthday candles that dont read happy birthday anymore
98 - a pumpkin carving kit which is carp
99 - Happy Birthday sign which looks really tatty now
100 - about 20 more random carp which I cant remember - empty match box for example - why the hell that was in there I dont know?!

Well done, it's amazing some of the stuff we keep isnt it?
I'm trying to have a productive day off. Been into town to get some mould and mildew remover to do all our windows, declutter the mould ha. Just eating lunch/breakfast then to finish sorting stuff for the tip. Got an old tv to add to it and loads more stuff, we have millions of old broken shoes umbrellas etc under the stairs for the tip. Should get a move on really! Lots of ebay items ending today, about 50 I think. Eeek

wow, you're doing Fab, so much motivation you should bottle it

Am desperate to get rid of the baby carseat. Has anyone successully sold one of these? It's in perfect condition, with a click base, but tried three times to sell and no takers. I don't really want much. A tenner would be lovely. They are £90 new without the base. But I think most people want brand new ones...

    Have you tried Netmums?

Hey I have been reading with interest as we have a really big house and its full of guff!!!!
Anyway I live with my parents and theyre both my decluttering nemeses! My mum (who has cooked once in my entire 29 years - and it was baked beans):rotfl: tears all the recipes out of magazines and sits them at the side of the sofa......... She is also obsessed with books (part of her mental health issues tbh) and if she sees you throw books away or give them away she'll get upset until she gets to read them (and I mean scary-upset). She has a cupboard stacked floor to ceiling (double-room height) and five deep......dread to think whats lurking in there! I understand things like a fave book or one u want to re-read (I have a small bookcase with true crime books):o but she's never going to get through these in a month of sundays! and all she does all day every day is read!

We had a flood last year and a lot of stuff got wrecked which has made me realise just how important it is to be streamlined (plus I'm buying a house with my man next year and he's waaaaaay minimalist) as couldn't get to fix stuff cos of the junk!
My dads just as bad hes got 3 boxes of VHS which hes insisting on keeping cos they cost a lot of money.............even tho most of them are my old childrens vhs. Horrible thing to say but my man n I have both said that when they pass it'll be a case of just getting a skip n possibly losing some fab stuff cos theres too much for one (or 50) person/people. :(

I find that being cluttered is a real hindrance and a drain on my emotions (I suffer depression as well) so yesterday I started a 'bible' - basically a nice book with headings to help give me a boost and know I've done something even if it doesnt look like it....
The MSE section is exactly what it says on the tin...
Decluttering isthings like getting all my groupon etc deals together in one place, putting stuff in a CS bag
Looks is for when i do a manicure or make an effort to do a full face of makeup
Body is when i stick to my diet, go a walk with the puppy etc
    Housework.....says it all lol
Person is when i do summat nice like give blood, do something for charity etc
and little victories is for things like yesterday, I won £30 on a scratchcard, or going to tea with a friend, or seeing my man for a surprise visit :)

Sorry I wittered on lol but hoping writing it down here will help me stick to it:T! xxx
    NSD November 1/20 :money:
Crap 1, Simple Be, Next, VANQUIS, TESCO, VERY, EMPIRE, ADDITIONS, HALIFAX C/C, HALIFAX LOAN, STUDENT LOAN
Make £10 a day in November £34.57/£450

Grr I typed a reply and it disappeared!

Anyway, 27 items gone today from the children's toys and books stash, and we are still surrounded in fact I can see a dodgy "football" made out of stress relief stuff so that will be 7 to get to target, and I might "encourage" step dad to take his wood glue home later. Oh, and he took a big pot of paint earlier so yaay

    95/100

    Hurrah!

  • 8 items posted today and 12 more to wrap up and post! Eeek. Am going to list the rest of the stuff more gradually so I don't have so many ending on the same day. Today I had to buy 5 rolls of parcel paper as I ran out after wrapping the ones I posted today! I must stop requesting free samples, I have so many I must have over 150 beauty samples

And... Result I didn't throw away her favourite shoes! So I am ok.
