Decluttering 2012, this year, definitely ...

31. Jar of dried herbs - 2 became 1!
33. De-cantered soap from bottle with broken pump to three smaller bottles. MS too as was going to bin the bottle but now won't need to buy any hand soap for any of the bathrooms for the rest of the month.
I am about to bring more clutter into the house though as I am only on here killing 10 mins whilst I wait for an ebay listing to end so I can put a last minute bid in. I may be kidding myself but as they are storage baskets, I am hoping they will help give some things a home
I think I will declutter my eyebrows whilst I wait, just so I'm not tempted to bid on anything else.0 -

I have been laid low with a stomach bug for the past week. But I had a little flurry of energy last night and cleared 2 black bags worth of clothes from my wardrobes for the charity shop.
This is stuff that I have had for 15 years or more! Shopaholic and hoarder is not a happy combination.
I am finding this thread a real inspiration so thanks to everyone who takes the time to contribute0 -

Well the storage baskets are mine, or at least will be when I collect them. Not sure ebaying is the best way of decluttering as I find I buy more when I'm selling stuff on there. Still, have 3 items with bids on and several qith watchers. I suppose if I buy 1 thing for every 3 I sell I will eventually declutter!
34. Tokens I've been collecting, enveloped ready to post
35. Wheel broken from DD bed. Have mailed company we bought bed from last year asking them to place it. Photos sent, wheel binned.
Now I must ignore the computer and to the ironing. Also want to get a large wooden crate listed on ebay so I can move it off the kitchen side (I dragged it out 3 days ago but it's not moved since). I find I am so unmotivated when the kids are poorly. Roll on good health and school!0 -

Decluttering has slowed down a bit. I have sold 3 items on e*ay over the weekend, so they will be out of the house by early next week hopefully.
Recycled 6 pairs of PJ's and a bag a old underwear.
Got rid of another 1/2 binbag of rubbish.
I,m gonna try tackling ther playroom properly later.
All confidential paperwork is now burned.
Usual kitchen and household packaging in the recycling.
Will update when I get a bit more done

Hi
I'm really enjoying this thread and would like to join the ditch 100 in Feb challenge; this is what i have decluttered so far:

2 - chucked away old face paints from top of bathroom cupboard
3 - finally posted nephews birthday present so that is now off the dining room table!
4 - duvet set given away Freecycle
5 - hot water bottle cover given away on Freecycle
