Hi everyone,
I started my day binning a carrier full of old makeup.
I have also sorted through:
another bag of clothes for charity shop
another bag of fabric for freecycler
lampshade for freecycler
Have also advertised other items on freecycle which will hopefully go over the weekend. Will add these when/if collected. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Hello all, a little trip to the charity shop to take a pine cabinet that used to belong to my ex mother in law. It was as ugly as sin, why it was still in my house after being rmoved from the wall some 6 months ago is anyones guess, ditto vile canvas print and bathroom shelf. big bag of clothes and handbags bit the dust today also.
Unfortunately I came away from the charity shop with a brand new Karen Millen jumper and new work trews - tres chic.
Trying to do the best I can right about now.

No darwinsmum, that's not a problem. It's all good getting nice new clothes (provided that you have got rid of old scruffy ones first yadayada).
I had a bit of a fail last night, got a pair of trousers from thebay and they are a size 10. Can hardly get the darn things up and they most certainly don't look good on me. Cutting me to pieces and a lovely camel toe. I will have to relist these as I am never going to wear them. Are Dorothy Perkins sizes always small or have I just been unlucky here?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Another binbag of tat and rubbish gone, this time from the playroom:j. It still needs a proper sort through though. All the toy boxes need a real rummage through, as do art drawers, DVD's and games.
General food packaging in the recycling, pile of confidential paperwork in chimnea for burning. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, the house is much tidier and there are currently no piles of toys and paperwork about the house. However, I know that some of this is superficial. Need to sort sons room as he has at least 20 miles of hot wheels track:eek:.
I posted another parcel off thanks to ebay.
Also need to really tackle the garage. Unfortunately, this is full of other peoples stuff as well as our own.
Gonna give garden a tidy next week, chuck away old pots and see what I need to get ready for this years planting.
I might get a bit more done tonight.
Oooh, I also decluttered 2 thorntons choc reindeer lollys earlier, well done me:rotfl:

Good start today - although I'm only counting it as one item. Just a bin bag of rubbish distributed among the various recycling boxes and the dustbin.
So thats 1 item - just 99 to go!!!!0 -
Took Amazon trade in box to post office - fingers crossed they like all the books. Had a bit of a mare with the Zapper courier so I'm taking that box to the post office on Monday
Gave a bag of bags to my mate to put on t'ebay for me...can't get the hang of it myself so we go halves on anything she sells for me!Made a killing on a couple of pairs of DM's last year!
Just done the drawers in the study...how many wires does this house need! I've got drawers of random wires and plugs in the shed too...can I just put them in the bin or do they need to be disposed of in a special way?
Will soon be decluttering a Chinese once it's delivered!:DLBM Feb 2005 - £36000:o DFD 28th May 2012

Agree with crimson.addict, iTunes is evil, they take your cd and convert it into a format that will only work on iPods etc, and not on ordinary MP3 players. Much better to use Windows media player, it converts cds into MP3 format OR into wma which gives a smaller file (so you can fit more songs onto your device) and sounds the same to us mere mortals. HTH
Not doing very well with the decluttering at the moment cos work is manic and will be for the foreseeable (sigh)

They shouldn't really go in the bin cos the metals can be recycled, I think you're supposed to take them to the local recycling center nowadays. I expect there's people on here who know more than me though so don't take my word for it...

My posts keep disappearing, does that count?
I was at 6 and have cleared the fridge of grot items, binned some bottles that the children won't drink from, and baby used the last drops from sticky bottles of paracetamol and ibuprofen today. Tomorrow someone is coming to swap my kiddy playpen for the princely sum of £52 so my purse will be cluttered :-)
That makes 10 for meBossymoo

OK after a quick wizz round the house I can report:
1 insole packaging - bin
2 Twinings freebies - work
3 plug-in air freshener, never use it - bin
4 broken biro - bin
5 Book Group paperwork for at least 6 months - recycle
6 cat food freebie - fed to cat
Yay :j
