Thank you for all the congratulations!

Have had a good sort through my jewellery making supplies last night and added a few to ebay so hopefully they will sell as theres quite a bit of monies worth there which obviously would be very nice right now, its amazing i filled nearly 50 seal bags (not all small some quite big ones) with beads and charms and when I look at my stash I honestly cant tell that anything has gone!! Oh dear strikes me as an addiction!

Will continue over the weekend as I have a good feeling that my house might lose some weight this weekend :T

Last week I took a large bag to the charity shop (clothes and a few little bits that didn't sell on Ebay after several attempts.) I burned another bag of confidential paperwork (one more bag left - it's quite nice to sit by the fire in the evening feeding it paper as I can watch the TV as well!) I also threw away a pair of completely worn out slippers.

I would like to join in with the 'Ditch 100 things in February' challenge. I don't know if I will reach 100 as I have already got rid of a lot over the last couple of years, but it will encourage me to be a bit more ruthless with the things I still have!

Can anyone recommend software for turning songs from a CD into an mp3 file please? I have a lot of CD singles I can get rid of if I can convert them into digital format.

    Ditch 100 things in February

    1. Ebay parcel posted
2 - 4. Old phone directory, yellow pages and Argos catalogue recycled.

What dvd was it? and how much did it sell for? maybe someone has one they want to declutter going to a CS or someone might know where you can get one cheaper than they've bought that you could get and send.

thats a good idea! i think it is ok now. The films were Twilight New Moon, and Twilight Eclipse....classic dyslexic error. I'm used to having problems with stuff like this so take extra care normally :( .The 2nd person has replied and they have checked the item closer and they have the wrong film too, so at least both customers have just been swapped over. I guess she didn't look that close before leaving feedback.
the 2nd lady is going to return it, and I have asked her to send it 1st class or quicker, as the other person is very impatient, and even though I have explained it was a genuine mistake, she doesn't seem too pleased.

I will reimburse her the postage fees, but I don't think I should refund the item cost? as they have still received the item they wanted? Or as a dispute case is already open, maybe I should just refund the lot and put up with the loss just to keep her happy and not to complain further? What would you do?

Callisto - about the software, you should just be able to use windows media player or you could download itunes. If you put the cd in the computer the media software should just open up and sometimes they ask you if you want to copy it. I use itunes and it is very simple to use, if you are connected to the internet they also name the tracks and artist too. Hope this helps :)

I do have that dvd but i could never part with it cause im sad like that :) Glad it worked out. I would e-mail the buyer and ask what they want you to do, do they want you to refund and resell the disc or refund the postage and send them the disc.

Do not use iTunes! it is the root of all evil. (I think this even though i have to use it) but unless you have an iDevice i wouldnt recomend it. windows media player is probably the easiest.

I got an ipod at the same time as I got my laptop years ago, so thats why I use it, because it is most familiar to me. There should be something already installed on your computer though to make life simpler.
