Well done Jess :T £42 a week extra will make a lot of difference!!!
More decluttering; this time from our room:
13. 2 very out of date boxes of chocolate (not edible as 4 years over)
14. 1 strange triangular shaped piece of foam?!!!
15. Various bits of cardboard to recycling
16. Various papers to recycling
17. 1 empty tangle tamer bottle of DD's
18. old broken freezer bag
19. dry skin cream which was never used
20. a few more old broken toys
February Challenge: 20/100
Found some more stuff for CS which I'll put on here and will just copy and paste to my list when I've actually dropped the bag at the CS (all written on a card I want to get rid of lol!):
2 pairs of shoes
1 pair of sandals
11 awful skirts (who on earth does DH buy me cr***y short pleated skirts - I'm NOT a school girl !!!) Think he's got the message now as I never ever ever ever wear them, much to his disappointment.
3 books
1 mattress protector only used once as never got on with it (one of those you put the mattress right inside and as we have a heavy memory foam one it's a right old faff)
That's it for now folks!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
I've made a start on Feb ditching - determined to ditch 100+ this month.
Ditch 100 in Feb 1/100

First time I've made it on here in a couple of weeks due to holiday then poorly kids. They are in the recovery stages now so need to get back into the swing of things with housework and decluttering.
Please could I be put down for the 100 in Feb challenge. I have already made a pile of stuff for a tip run DH will be making this weekend and some stuff for charity shop. Will include these only when they leave the house though!
I will start by sitting down and having a look through the last few pages to see what everyone has been decluttering, that always inspires me!0 -

Did a similar thing myself a month or so back - sent 2 separate parcels to the same address when I should have sent 1 to a different one! Offered to refund the person when I realised, or they could wait for it to be returned. They still left me negative feedback so I told other person they could keep it and reluctantly refunded the buyer even though they had not got back to me to say what they wanted me to do! Not sure if I was more angry with them for tarnishing my 100% or myself for the silly mistake in the 1st place!
If I was you, I'd refund buyer and just apologise hugely. Be prepared to take a hit of your feedback. If other buyer isn't replying there's not much you can do. You defo haven't accidentally kept the DVD you sold, have you?0 -
Got distracted from reading by daughter - she needed next does of medicine. Cleared out medicine cabinet whilst I was there!
1-2 Old medicine bits chucked out
3-9 Plastic bottles to recycling
Now off to get the washing put away then I will get back to my reading.0 -
cat04 and catslovelycats, thanks for the advice, it would be easier if I had 2 unhappy people. I have no replies from anyone yet so will have to wait until tomorrow. I guess if person 2 wants to keep their wrong dvd, then I will have to just refund person 1 and say sorry, as I havn't got the right dvd to give her. Should I go to a 2nd hand shop and buy a copy to then send to her? Or just cancel the lot?
I feel so daft.
I have definatly sent both films, because they are from the same franchise, and I remember thinking, I must not mix these up as I package them! Also they are not in the ebay box anymore.0 -
10 broken cardboard box to recycling
11 pile of junkmail to recycling
DS has now woken from his nap with earache so we may not be quite as over the illnesses as I'd hoped.0 -

Well done jess1011. Hope you enjoy the job and the extra money!0 -
Oh jess, I'm so pleased you got the job! Well done on applying for the bank too, let's hope you get in there.
I am going to look at food clutter too as I find that my cupboards get full up with dried goods which then don't get used as quickly as we might want. I have a 2k bag of moth beans in the cupboard which DH bought on a whim last year as they were reduced. I have taken 1/10th to cook for tea tomorrow. I got my days muddled and put them in to soak last night. We've now been invited out for a curry tomorrow evening so instead of wasting them, I'll cook them up and take them with us to have as a side dish as there will be 8 of us. It's decluttering and moneysaving rolled into 1!
I have also placed a bid on a linen sheet on thebay. Perhaps I will be able to afford one every now and then with ebay profits provided I get on and keep listing stuff as and when the kids grow out of their clothes.
I do find that most stuff doesn't last at all though and is only fit for the bin (ragging). It seems such a waste.
We're going to be running late tonight, I've had the wrong oven turned on for the last 20 minutes. What a waste of power as I'm now having to microwave start the roasted veggies.
