I finally finished the last of the mince pies yesterday, so box recycled and inner packaging binned. I've now only got about half a choc orange to finish from the Christmas 'naughties' (I'm eating a couple of segments per day), and then I can really get into my diet.

Took some more used envelopes in to work today, and this afternoon I got rid of some old files on an external hard drive. Also OH finished a bottle of shampoo this morning, so bottle has now been recycled.

I'm definitely in for the 100 in Feb challenge!

  • Can I join in for February Please - We are trying to decorate but the house is so full of clutter it just seems to look a mess all the time and I feel like we are not getting anywhere!!

I have just dug out a load of stuff for Zapper - will count the amount in the morning! Blooming narked that all the books I had saved for Amazon trade in have been removed as no longer available to trade in though!! Guess I will just have to lug them up the charity shop....

The last of the books are going today...if I can get to the post office to post the Amazon trade in box and the courier can pick up my Zapper box from work! Then a few books to my sci-fi fan friend and that it's it. Hopefully the Amazon vouchers will be a large contribution towards a Kindle! :T

Still not done the drawer unit in the study as I got sidetracked with the books so it's on the to do list for this weekend. :)

My office in tray in work will be decluttered by the end of the day too!:D

  • Box of "business cards" thrown out - I'm not a business, but they seemed like a good idea at the time! As I'm hoping to move soon, the address and landline will be wrong, so out they go! Still considering whether to get new ones done after the move.....but that's at least a month away at the current rate of progress:mad: - wish my landlady would actually DO something, even if it's just to say she doesn't want to give me a reference:mad:
  • I'm up for ditch 100 in february! I'm off to a good start - 20 assorted bags and boxes of recycling out today. Also a book and envelope to count as they went in the post yesterday, and 2 bags of random stuff to charity as well.

    try baby sales
Table Tots Yorkshire - find us on our website or facebook.... :):j

A TABLE Tots Baby sale is an indoor table top sale for nearly new maternity & childrens items (approx birth to age 10)

Pre - Loved is so en vogue!

Sell and or Buy quality pre-loved toys, books, equipment & clothes for mums-to-be, babies, tots & young children.

Is your garage or loft full of great stuff that your baby has grown out of?

Why not turn it into cash by selling at one of our sales.

Our indoor table top sales are great for fundraising.

Nurseries, schools, playgroups etc are all welcome.

From a bin bag to a car load it is now time to sort out for some extra cash !! $$

Or you could try an NCT Nearly New Sale. You get money for you items and raise money for a large national charity all at the same time. There are NCT sales all over the country.

There are a lot of these types of sales popping up all over the country organised as a money making business. What is disappointing, is that they seem to use the NCT model, search out and use the same venues. As a volunteer with the NCT, this makes me really cross!!

  • Hi Beadgirl: what film is it you need?
I wouldn't buy it myself, as the buyer can do that if they are desperate.
Depends how 'guilty' and 'liable' you feel. I'm not that conscientious about my selling, but it's a kind gesture to consider.
