Sleep. Saturday night 6 hr 37 minutes, which I think is quite good, but gave a Sleep Score of only 65, 'fair'. I'm not sure how it's working these out because on Thursday I got a Score of 70 for only 5hrs 45. I know it also calculates sleep quality but to unlock the rationale of the algorithm I have to pay for Fitbit Premium. It's £7.99 per month so I won't bother.
Weight No idea. Still not played with the scales and also I keep forgetting to weigh myself (theoretically I do it first thing in the morning, in my nightie, post-wee, pre-food).
Ten NCD I'd intended going for one today but then I ate a mince pie. And then ten chocolate buttons. It's still better than some days.

I haven't grown ornamental cabbages so I'll check them out.

Is the pile of newspapers just standard dailies? If so why not just start again with today's? Or do you read them for pleasure rather than just for info?
The hardest one for me would be 'no computer after 7:15 pm'. I wouldn't even attempt it **admiration**
Very organised with the veggie growing. I went to the garden centre to buy some sweet pea seeds this week. They didn't have any. Why?? Because all the seeds have been removed to make way for Christmas. CHRISTMAS!!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Perhaps it is something to do with moving around while you're asleep. If you're not moving the Fitbit might assume you're in a deep sleep - just a thought.

Do you know what causes your broken sleep? It's obviously not booze because you're so well-disciplined about that, but do you drink a lot of coffee?
Weight No idea. Still not played with the scales and also I keep forgetting to weigh myself (theoretically I do it first thing in the morning, in my nightie, post-wee, pre-food).
Ditto. I find it interesting that even having a cup of tea before I weigh myself gives a strangely high reading, and I often forget to jump on the scales first - like this morning.
Ten NCD I'd intended going for one today but then I ate a mince pie. And then ten chocolate buttons. It's still better than some days.
How did you manage to stop after 10? Or was that just the end of the packet?
Nails Nope, still stumpy.
If you don't have the evil gunge and you're still relying on willpower alone that would make sense.Honey That's an ambitious list but I have confidence in you.Well maybe not so much the tech stuff, that sounds like too much for one human on one Friday (especially a human who couldn't even pack the right charger last week).
Ah, but I *am* techie enough to realise OH's Huawei phone charger fits my Samsun tablet so there's hope. And each of those four tech problems has a day set aside for them over the month; the fact that I'm tackling the ipods and tablet this Friday is ambitious, so the tablet will probably get a cursory glance and a fair amount of cursing and be shelved till next week again. The ipods need sorting out urgently.
Is the pile of newspapers just standard dailies? If so why not just start again with today's? Or do you read them for pleasure rather than just for info?
It's an excellent weekly newspaper that reports on relevant events that I usually already know about in the first half. but the commentary is excellent and never goes out of date which is what I'm after. OH likes the second section, which is mainly about the arts.
The hardest one for me would be 'no computer after 7:15 pm'. I wouldn't even attempt it **admiration**
It's almost impossible for me, too, which is why I'm doing it. I really, really don't gain from sliding through f'book at 11.45pm, so I need to break the habit. Failed on Saturday night, succeeded on Sunday, so that's a start.
Very organised with the veggie growing. I went to the garden centre to buy some sweet pea seeds this week. They didn't have any. Why?? Because all the seeds have been removed to make way for Christmas. CHRISTMAS!!
One of my favourite flowers, sweetpeas, but for some reason I haven't tried growing them for a couple of decades and had a lot of failures when I tried this year. Most cross; I love having them in the house.
And I agree - enraging about Christmas tat already on the shelves. The older I get the less I do for it, and the more I enjoy it, but it doesn't start until December although, come to think of it, I may have stashed a few presents already.

Hi all :hello:
Wow, I have got very behind with posting. Things are just a bit chaotic at the moment. Everyone is doing really well. Keep up the good work!
Well done on the NCD HappyNow! :T
Update for Friday, Saturday & Sunday...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Yes on Friday, no on Saturday or Sunday so now on 3 NCDs.
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - Meal plan done and shopping coming later today.
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Friday & Saturday don't count. Sunday, bed at 9.45pm, light out at 11.00pm.
4) At least 40 minutes walking during the day 6 days a week - 20 minutes done Friday (2 x 10 minutes), at least 2 hours done on Saturday, none on Sunday.
5) Deep clean the kitchen - Nope and wondering why this is even on my list.0 -
Garden – it has rained all day so an indoor day. It looks as though you're going to have a week of 'indoors' if the weather where you are is similar to the weather we're expecting here. It's grim grim grim.
Food – try new recipe each week - nothing today. That's a 'yet' then, isn't it, because you've got all week.

Make time for me –make time to read or complete a craft project etc. - another fail. And again: 'yet.' Can you diary it for a particular time every day, or a half day on one day a week? Or even a couple of hours?

Autumn clean - I will aim to do 2 or 3 rooms during October. - made a start on the bathroom and emptied all the cupboards, cleaned them, sorted everything out discarding anything not needed. I need to finish off tomorrow and as rain is forecast I should get it done. Well done on doing the cupboards. It's so easy to ignore them while doing a quick clean, and it's so satisfying when they're sorted.

Update for Friday, Saturday & Sunday...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Yes on Friday, no on Saturday or Sunday so now on 3 NCDs. Half and half, so on track.
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - Meal plan done and shopping coming later today. Achieved for the week already - well done.
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Friday & Saturday don't count. Sunday, bed at 9.45pm, light out at 11.00pm. I'm relieved someone else who really wants to achieve this struggles with it as much as I do. It's a relief to know it's not just me being a slack human being - it's obviously a 'thing'. How come no-one talks about it?
4) At least 40 minutes walking during the day 6 days a week - 20 minutes done Friday (2 x 10 minutes), at least 2 hours done on Saturday, none on Sunday. You more than made up for it on Saturday, so Tick.
5) Deep clean the kitchen - Nope and wondering why this is even on my list. Because one day you'll turn out a drawer while your waiting for the kettle to boil, and you'll feel great!
We're getting there, slowly but surely.Better is good enough.0 -

Decide if the older, smaller, prettier ipod can be resussitated, or whether it really is seriously dead. Don't have to worry about this until Friday. *relief*
- 15 minutes Flying a day, to keep on top of the crap as September turned out to be quite successful on the Flying front eventually. Weekends don't count unless I absolutely have to because we've got arrivals, I just don't. However, there must be something in this Good Intentions thing because yesterday I did run the vacuum around where the kittens had been traipsing sawdust everywhere. *preen* I was quite surprised when it gave out because I'd used up all the battery, too.
- Plan Serious Flying a week at a time using the current list of outstanding jobs. Schedule some of the biggies across a week at a time, one job a day. Today's jobs scheduled; let's see if it works.
- Read one of the outstanding newspapers a day. Not yet. I've got rather a big pile of them, so the only way to do that is:
- No computer after 7.15 pm. Not on Saturday, but yes last night. I didn't manage to even open a newspaper though.
- Reach 63.5 kgs by 31 October. *sigh* On course on Sunday morning, not so much this morning. I blame the first cup of tea.
- Finish sorting the muddled bay in the attic. I won't be able to tackle this until I've been to a particular Morries and picked up a particular size of box I need and that isn't happening yet because it's right out of my way.
- Sow onion sets, broad beans and spinach in pots by the end of the month. Must go through the seed stash and see if I've actually got any of these; I know I don't have any onion sets. Then I'm going to have to empty some pots. Or maybe empty the pots when they're not soaked after a downpour; should have done that yesterday.
