Well, I am feeling a lot better today than yesterday and far more motivated. Post-holidays blues have gone thankfully.
Yesterday's update...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Nope, so still on 4.
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - Delivery arrived yesterday and I have done some tweaking of my plan so I am now set for the rest of the week.
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Slightly better than the last week but still not at target, bed at 10.15pm and light out at 11.15pm.
4) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - 20 minutes done (2 x 10 minutes).
Not quite there but feel better about my chances today though.0 -
.... skids in, late as usual, missed the register being called and now scuffling around at the back pretending to be working, but in reality writing notes to friends and not concentrating. The dog ate my homework. Still, new day, new dawn and all that.
Happy, I rather suspect you get Top of the Class award this week. I saw dozens of TV cameras and not one was focused on me, I can assure you! At one point (early Sunday morning - hardly surprising timing on reflection) on my way to an absolutely excellent training session, I walked past three interviews being carried out on a balcony above and another one next me to as I walked up a hill. Very photogenic backdrop, lots to talk about, obvs. Skiving off this thread for that was a Good Thing, imho, even if I didn't have note, Miss.
Weighed myself this morning - 65.7kgs, so still a lardarse, but I got off lightly all things considered. The dog's still asleep (at this hour!) so needs to be woken from her beauty sleep and walked so I can do some stretches, house is [STRIKE]a bit of a mess[/STRIKE] pretty filthy to be brutally honest, and I have new mountains of paperwork to deal with, unfortunately, which needs to be added, very urgently indeed, to the listy of work to be done pronto.
I deserved that whitebait and those mussels, misssed out on a chocolate brownie *curses* and loved the pizza. And like all right thinking people, I believe it should be served for school lunch every single day.Better is good enough.0 -

I can multi quote - yay first lot of homework completed! :rotfl: Now to work out how I did it :rotfl:
I normally read the diaries on my kindle on an evening but I loathe it to type on. I spent ages writing a post with my targets on last night and lost everything! Targets to follow in next postxx

Targets Monday's updates
1. Do not borrow from small saving pots - Hmm I called into Sainsbugs for Polos shirts for the boys and bought 6 tops for myself which were badly needed and most were in the sale. I spent £36.50 which I think is a bargain and £8 on two lots of polos which were £8. I only had £15 in the clothing pot so took £20 out of house pot and £10 out of holiday pot. There is nothing in these pots now. I have made the decision as I don't need that money at the moment that I won't repay.
2. Check for surveys on a daily basis. Fail - worked all day and evening
3. Lose 3.5lbs per month Tuesday is weigh day and I have smashed this target. I have lost 4.5lbs this week
4. Step target of 60,000 Yesterday I did 8,889 steps out of my 60,000 target so I am 14.8% o f the way there
5. Have a 12 hour eating window Was doing well until I decided to have a slice of bread and butter on my way to bed - not needed at all but a massive downfall of mine
6. In bed and lights out by 11pm and up by 7.15 on weekdays This target is really important to me as I take ages to fall asleep and my littlest hobo can be up anytime from 6 so then I doze with him in bed next to me. Last night lights out at 11.30 and I got up at 7.32 as I am working from home today I knew I would save time not having to put my make up on It makes a massive difference to all of us if we are not rushing in a morning
7. Deal with all post and letters from school on the day it arrives. Some forms to fill in for school and after school club so fail
8. Do one thing a day towards getting the house to where I want it.Need to write a list for this
So quite a few and a mixed bunch really but hoping this will ingrain good habits!
Thank you for letting me join in0 -

Hope the housework went well. I recommend answering the phone to find it's OH's friends inviting themselves over at short notice. That happened to me last night and it was motivating to say the very least. My house is pretty ship-shape now (note the sea-side theme).LBM Dec 2011. When I first started this diary I opened loads of online savings accounts alongside our current account, and gave each one a title (Holiday, Christmas, Clothing etc etc). I'd put in £10/£20 a month or whatever, then promptly transfer it back to the main current account to avoid charges! I will follow your progress with interest because I could so see the logic but didn't ever achieve it personally.
This month I've signed up for Prolific Academic surveys and I love it - the surveys are always interesting and the pay is OK. I just HATE the others where you get screened out after spending your own time inputting your personal details. The only other one I do is YouGov, but it is so booooring. They only ever want to know my opinions on last night's telly. Once I get to the £50 withdrawal threshold I won't bother with that one again. Do you have any other recommendations besides Prol Ac?
It's a funny thing how so many of us set quality time in bed as a target. I remember seeing a thing on Facebook, about how as kids our greatest punishment threat was 'you'll go to bed early and won't go to that party' and now that's our greatest rewardLBM Dec 2011. So, for today:
Back to 1400 calories daily, to include 5 x F & V. Fail. There was a lot of talk about pizza on here this morning. It led to things. Also we had visitors today so I'd felt obliged to buy cake. I wasn't sure what they'd like, and Tesco Finest cakes were on offer, so I bought one lemon drizzle, once chocolate and one carrot. They didn't want cake so now I have a cupboard full. So far I've kept it to two slices but it's VERY tempting.
Six glasses of water daily to rinse away all that fat and sugar. Probably 2-3 max again, although plenty of fluids in tea and Pepsi Max.
Only one bottle of wine per week, and the wine-week starts Fridays Tick on this one
At least seven hours in bed each night. I had a really late night last night, which resulted in me falling asleep in the chair today. Not looking great for tonight.
Stop pretending I've forgotten the Level 1 flying. *preen* all ok here

Honey Bear - Sounds like you enjoyed the weekend. Good luck catching up with everything. It's amazing how a few days off can get you behind with everything.
BB50 - Well done on the multi-quoting. It takes a bit of editing to get it right. That's why I can't always be bothered. Good luck with your MANY targets.
HappyNow - I agree mussels are bleurgh too. _pale_ Maybe us Yorkshire lasses just have a more sophisticated palate. :rotfl:0 -

I could give you a hand disposing of them especially if any of them are gluten free. :whistle:0
