Oh dear, look at the time. I fell asleep during my Corrie catch-up, presumably some sort of sugar coma. I'll be back tomorrow with the full update on today's failings (quick clue - they're very similar to yesterday's failings but at least I won't have to worry about that cake anymore). NightLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

1. Do not borrow from small saving pots - This is so tough. Been to the hairdressers and had to borrow out of savings. Will repay from this weeks and next weeks Beauty savings - it's early days and you're aware so you will get there.
2. Check for surveys on a daily basis. Failed yesterday... however I did two todayExcellent
3. Lose 3.5lbs per month Tick
4. Step target of 60,000 To quote Honey i think i may be running a marathon to catch up at the weekend :rotfl:it is just a matter of getting into a routine of walking. I started walking regularly a couple of years ago and struggled to start with but made myself go for a walk even if it was only for 5 minutes and eventually it clicked and became part of my routine.
5. Have a 12 hour eating window Fail - I was up too darn early :rotfl:the answer is to stay in bed later
6. In bed and lights out by 11pm and up by 7.15 on weekdays Mid night :eek:Stayed in bed till 7.30 as I was working from home so didn't need to put my makeup on
7. Deal with all post and letters from school on the day it arrives. Total fail and still need to do the flipping school forms :rotfl:they will come to the top of the list
8. Do one thing a day towards getting the house to where I want it.Need to write a list for this, still need to write this bloomin list :rotfl:this will be at the top of the list after the forms

- To have hit 63 kgs at some point on the scales over the course of the month which will require a steady downward tragectory. Nothing to see here. Move along everyone.
- 15 minutes Flying per day. Nothing today after the windows yesterday. The only ones I did were the insides of the front windows, but I did all the frames, all the curtain rails, washed the curtains (there aren't many, but still) and boy did they need it. It's been a while .... that's a lot of work on the windows - mine need doing but I keep putting it off.
- Stretches after each dog walk. Still need a bit of self-discipline about this.
- Clear one paperwork Frog each week ([STRIKE]minutes[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]tax return[/STRIKE], stocktake freezer and food cupboards) and now the complaince stuff. No, Happy, I won't get paid for it, but if it helps our democratic system keep trundling along it's worth it. Someone has to do all of the little jobs and our local mainstay has got his hands full with family responsibilties at the moment, so two of us had the training. Between the three of us we should be able to fulfill all the legal requirements. I hope so, because it looks as though it's going to be needed fairly soon.

Flying – 15 minutes per day no as I have been out all day

Pampering – I always remove make up / moisturise my face but this doesn’t extend to the rest of me where I’m a bit slap dash so this month I will take better care of the rest of me. Yes, getting in to a routine with this
Complete a project – I have a number of half finished projects so I will aim to complete at least one by the end of September not started anything else
Finances – update spreadsheet when required and not leave it until the end of the month. no but will do tomorrow0 -
Hi all :hello:
Well, that was a crazy few days and I seem to have missed a lot on here...
Honey Bear - Yes, meal planning is making life easier for me. If I don't meal plan, it's exactly as you describe, having it at the back of my mind all day until finally I just have to decide.
The 10 minute walk is a specific route, it's the time it takes me to walk to our local train station. I could take a longer route I guess.
Hope you enjoyed the flicks? Did you see anything good?
Happy Now - Thanks for reminding me about my NCDs target. As you'll see in a minute it's not going too bad. However, the bedtime routine, not so much.
I can't believe that you can't find a window cleaner to do your upstairs windows. We live in a 3 storey house and most of the windows would never get cleaned if we didn't have a window cleaner come round. They use a long pole rather than ladders but hey, what do I care? Perhaps you could find someone who would come a couple of times a year rather than more regularly.
BB50 - You are doing well. I am so jealous of your weight loss. Does the 12 hour eating window really help? I tried skipping breakfast for a while and having an 8 hour window but it meant I couldn't have my first meal of the day until 12pm and I just couldn't cope with that. 12 hours sounds far more manageable though.
Elnora - I know what you mean about life getting in the way, I honestly don't know where the last 3 days have gone. Well done for trying to stick to your targets anyway.
SSG - Hope everything is ok with you? I don't think we have 'seen' you for a few days.0 -
Update for Wednesday & Thursday...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - No crap eaten on either day so now on 7 NCDs. :j
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for this week. :j
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - On Wednesday, I went to bed at 10.15pm and light off at 10.55pm but then read stuff on my phone in the dark until 11.25pm. Doh! On Thursday, bed at 10.05pm and light off at 10.45pm.
4) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - On Wednesday, 40 minutes. On Thursday, 60 minutes. :j0 -
Update for Friday...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - Fail but not entirely my fault. I had a hospital appointment that went on until lunchtime so decided to head to the hospital cafe for a sandwich and a cup of tea. Had to settle for a twirl and a cup of tea because 'we don't do gluten free sandwiches'. A hospital, for goodness sake! Shouldn't they cater for all dietary requirements? Anyway, still on 7 NCDs.
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - Next week's plan is on my to do list for today.
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Friday night so it didn't matter hence why I was on here so late.
4) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - 60 minutes done (2 x 20 minutes & 2 x 10 minutes).0 -
I didn't make it on here at all yesterday. Friday's are a bit mad - I work from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, and then when I get home it's the start of Wine Week, which could impact on my spelling/rambling. Actually, I only drank just two small glasses, thus ensuring I have some left for Strictly tonight, and probably a bit for tomorrow evening too. Very restrained, me.
BB - If you're still in the stationery cupboard over that whitebait & mussels incident, you can come out now - provided you eat them for 'dinner and tea', not 'lunch and dinner'.
Also, I still haven't downloaded those shopping apps. Will do it today.
Elnora - Well done on finishing that chair and the pampering progress. I'm terrible for falling into bed still wearing the remains of the day's make-up. I think that will be an October target (seeing as I've absolutely SMASHED all September's :rotfl:)
Dolphin - good going on the NCDs. I'd count twirl day as one of them, because firstly you had Good Intentions, and secondly twirls are tiny nowadays.
About the windows, I think we're just too remote for it to be worth a window-cleaners while coming. But I had never considered an extending pole. That's a brilliant idea and I can't believe I'd never realised they might exist. So that's Mr H's Christmas pressie sorted(I'm not even joking, he will love it!)
Honey - Not like you to miss a day's updating but I imagine you're probably deep into your compliance stuff.
About dust, we thought our house would be relatively dust free now we don't burn coal but it's still terrible. For the last year we've blamed it on the house refurb, but I don't think that one works any more. I have a friend who exfoliates every day in the shower because she says it cuts right down on the dusting. I've no idea if she's right, but even if she is I can't see it working here with four adults, two dogs and a cat!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Update for the last two days:
- 1400 calories, to include 5 x F & V. Pfft. I have managed the F & V thanks to the plum, tomato and cucumber mountain. Also lemon in the lemon cake and carrot in the carrot cake. Thursday I ate 1842 calories, and Friday 1684. So a fail, but not as big a fail as if I'd not been counting.
- Six glasses of water daily I start each day with good intentions, so I get three glasses before that wears off. Again, better than if I wasn't counting.
- Only one bottle of wine per week. Tick
- At least 7 hours in bed per night I seem to be sleeping really well at the moment which is not like me. I'm half wondering if it's to do with no mid-week alcohol. I will monitor this because I like it.
- Flying Been flying externally today. A lovely neighbour has been splitting her overgrown plants and they are now all in our garden looking lovely. I hope they survive, but she did warn me that they will disappear underground for winter soon, so the test will be whether they reappear in spring.
- No unnecessary spending Tick. Got to go to Tesco later so I will try and not hang around the sweetie aisle.
