Yesterday...

1) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Pass. I was in bed by 9.40pm and the light went off at 10.20pm.

2) At least 30 minutes walking during the day - Fail (again). Only managed 10 minutes.

3) Drink 3 bottles of water a day - Pass. Definitely more than 3 bottles.

I'm thinking it will have to be the return of the NCDs (No Crap Days) next month, I really eat a load a rubbish.

Ooh yes, NCDs are really where it's at. I'm doing OK at keeping to one sweet treat daily but they're getting bigger and bigger.....

Now, let's see if I can knit the previous days together. The caffeine day was highly productive in the end because I had so much energy. It's taken over two years (more like three or four) but the walk in cupboard under the front steps has had a thorough sort out and looks a lot better. Stuff will be going to the chazza, as well as some being chucked. Excellent. I'm back to normal caffeine-wise, thank goodness.

My weight seems to be falling steadily and I really don't understand why. It's possible Mr Bear and I are eating smaller portions bit's defo not diet-type food. We're eating the leftovers from a rather large party, truth be told.

Lights out times during the weird days were rather good, I seem to remember but then, of course, I blew it last night.

And I'm all caught up *phew* with this bit of my life, at least.
Ooh a caffeine-powered cleaning frenzy, that sounds just the job.

Maybe the party food is quite rich so you're not eating as much as you think? It's not generally known for promoting weight loss though, so perhaps you were hyper-active when under the influence of coffee and burned the calories off quickly. Whatever the reason, embrace it!

I seem to have hit a bit of a wall today. I think it's because I'm already planning ahead for September's targets and they seem more fun! Anyway:

Zero alcohol. Piece of cake this one now *preen*

Maximum of 1400 calories per day, to include 5 x fruit and veg and just one sweet treat.
The battery went flat on my Fitbit so I haven't actually counted calories. Pretty sure I went over though because my sweet treat was a big bar of galaxy :(

Six glasses of water per day I forced myself to do this one just to preserve some dignity tonight.

Daily dog walk at a fast pace It was fast but it wasn't long enough. I was out and back within 20 minutes. Just to add - the dogs get loads of exercise because they free roam on our land while one of us is outside, so luckily they're not dependant on me hitting targets :D

No looking at my phone in bed or after 11 pm. Tick for last night, but it's half past eleven now and I'm still here. Going as soon as I've posted this, honest.

No money wasting. Balance YNAB daily. Been home working today so haven't been anywhere to spend anything. YNAB is balanced.

Can I recommend the milk chocolate cake? I used to make it years ago and so as an ‘expert’ I can be on hand to QA it for you … it’s no trouble.

Found the milk chocolate cake recipe. Ooh it's got evaporated milk in it. I might have made that one in the very distant past because Page 47 is particularly cake-splattered, but I don't really remember. I shall suggest to Mr H that he has a crack at it, and it's very reassuring to know that there's an expert on hand!

I don’t bother with evaporated milk as I don’t use it in anything else and end up throwing it out. I just use milk to make up the liquid and the recipe works just as well.

It’s a big cake so I used to ice it, then slice and freeze the portions which worked well – just trying to help with your treat size :D

Zero alcohol. Piece of cake this one now *preen* So, likes sneaks and smug to boot. Hmm.

• Lose more weight, ideally down to 65kgs by 1 September. It really is yoyoing all over the place.
• 15 minutes Flying a day, Monday to Friday; Tick, sort of; I'm working on defrosting the freezer now which is clanking rather alarmingly. And I must do that shower room today.
• Leg stretches immediately after all dog walks. Not done 100% but better generally because I do it immediately after most walks.
• Lights out by 11.30 pm. Total fail again. Midnight. Tsk tsk.
Better is good enough.

Dolphin - I think you are in hand with the walking - the extra minutes count for the days when you don't have time.

To be honest Elnora, I haven't got a clue where I am so I'll agree that I am in hand with it. :)
