:hello: HappyNow.
Update for yesterday...
1) None eaten :j (so now on 9 NCDs).
2) Just over 11,000 steps :j.
3) Light off at 10.50pm but that's ok because it was Friday :j.
4) No spends on other people :j.
5) Nothing else done but I'm happy with my progress so far :j.
I have had a good week and it has paid off on the scales as I was a couple of lbs lighter this morning than I was at the beginning of the week. However, we have got visitors coming later for a few days so not sure how I will keep it up.0 -

2) Just over 6,000 steps but my first 'rest day' of the week so that's ok :j.
3) Light off at 11.30pm but it was Saturday so that's ok :j.
4) No spends on other people :j.
5) Nothing else done but I'm happy with my progress so far :j.0 -
Hi HappyNow
Hope all is well with you and yours...
Also hi to brizzle and joey.
Wow Dolphin! You've really cracked it - well done!:T:dance:
Honey...
How did I (mostly) crack the flossing? The opposite of your method really.
The dentist suggested stating with one day per week and building up, but that just wasn't working. So I decided to make it part of my work routine. Eat lunch, clear up when finished, wash up, disappear into loo and floss. Putting a smear of toothpaste on the floss like the dentist did also stops me from eating and drinking anything but water in the afternoon. If I don't manage lunchtime I've got till the end of the day. Also, when I come to update on here, I think "Nuts! Haven't flossed!" and go and do it because I can't write that I haven't done it again!
The knitting is fun, once I get into it. But...
The pattern's really complicated - 5 colours, often 4 on the go at a time. If it was written down (y'know - K2, p3, sl1 etc) I'd be steaming on. However, this is a grid with symbols, more like cross stitch and, due to a head injury, I have a problem perceiving symbols! I can work around it, but it takes time; and when I'm tired it feels like a row's taking forever. Or I miscount a square and don't realise for a couple of rows then have to unpick it, go back and redo it.
At the mo I'm tired and things have been going on in the background, so it's easy to feel disheartened. End of pity party...
Anyway, have managed most things on the list over most days. No flossing yesterday and Friday was a bad day for F&V, as I had a hospital appointment. (See above [STRIKE]reason[/STRIKE] excuse re knitting...)
Better tootle off and do something in The Zone (do do dee do etc, for those who remember the Twilight Zone!!)

Hello all, hope all is going well in Happy Land (think we've still got a box of that somewhere in a cupboard too - more stuff to go through!)
Have done 3/4 of the job of doom, just the processing and forms to do tomorrow which is dull but only dull and if I break it into chunks it goes more easily.
And Tuesday will be waiting for the courier and sorting the second attic. DS1 has a massive sleepover planned on Wednesday (on a school night thanks to a performance - I'm thinking I'm going to have to post a roster for the bathrooms on Thursday morning, and goodness knows how I'm going to get all 8 of them out of the door to get to school on time). Anyway before all that, I need to get the room clear and cleaned for some of them to sleep. This is good incentive. It HAS to be done so it will be done. I've just been faffing until now as I wasn't planning the decorating until the Easter holidays.
And when that is done, the big tidy will be 3/4 complete. I will only have DS2's room and leftovers to do and the stuff left in DS1s discarded bedroom which is mostly destined for other people who haven't been to collect it yet. It is happening - honestly.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

:hello: HappyNow.
Update for yesterday...
1) A small pot of rice pudding(so still on 10 NCDs).
2) Just under 6,000 steps but my second 'rest day' of the week so that's ok :j.
3) Light off at 11.20pm but that wasn't too bad considering we have visitors.
4) No spends on other people :j.
5) Nothing else done and I'm now wondering if I will get everything I want to do in the kitchen done before the end of March because of our visitors and the long Easter weekend coming up. I may end up carrying this target forward to April but let's see how it goes.0 -
Happy nearly Easter weekend again, Happy! I hope all is well in Happy Land and that Happy Pops is still holding his own, or even better, regaining his strength.
- Carry on with contacting possible outlets, a county a fortnight should be about right. One round of phone calls to make today and then I think I'll put it on the back burner again for a bit.
- 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Nuffink.
- No sugary stuff until Easter Sunday. Mondays, after indulging on Sundays, are a constant failure. Yesterday I managed to finish off a treacle tart and the accompanying cream, scoff an entire (huge) bar of L!d1 wholenut and eat one handmade choc OH had got specially for me on Sunday. I have to admit to feeling just a teensy bit sick after all that which is hardly surprising as I didn't start the sugarfest until about 1.30 and it was over by 4.15pm. *urp*
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm. Mostly ticks but some failures.
- 5 fruit and veg a day. Travelling is a toughie; it's almost impossible to get 5 f&v on the road, I've discovered. But not, if one indulges in a cooked breakfast - mushrooms, baked beans, tomatoes, fruit juice and blueberries with yoghurt. Not all on the same plate, though.
- Spring clean the office - dust the shelves first. Nuffink.
- Electric toothbrush once a day. Tick.
- No ***ing swearing, fine of £1 a word. Had to add this back in for myself, obvs, as it turns out it's quite a profitable little sideline. *holds out hand for cash* I owe the tin a few squids, because I do still let one out occasionally but my language is proper posh most of the time these days. I rather miss the old fishwife so I might let her out to play over Easter.
Better is good enough.0 -

5) Nothing else done.
