Half ate it normally and the other half had to let it melt on their tongue. No sucking allowed! :D

At the end, the 'normal' eaters handed in the empty wrappers. The 'melters' all had a lot left. I think even the most dedicated still had about half a bar.

I would never trust anyone who didn't scoff the whole bar in one sitting. End of.

    • Carry on with contacting possible outlets, a county a fortnight should be about right. Still: Must make a listy.
    • 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Even though it was Sunday I sorted all of my clothes out, gave a carrier bag to tthe local CS and then dusted and vacccumed the bedroom - including the light fitting and curtain rail. Then I had to have a nap.
    • No sugary stuff until Easter Sunday. Allowed on Sundays, so I ate the rest of the bar OH had doled out half of on Saturday night. I couldn't have been trusted with the whole thing - I have to get him to hide my chocolate stash at the moment.
    • No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm. Tick and cross. This 11.30 thing is not easy when I'm reading a book that holds my attention.
    • 5 fruit and veg a day. Dodgy, and I can feel the difference.
    • Spring clean the office - dust the shelves first. Nuffink.
    • Electric toothbrush once a day. Not a tick yesterday.
    • No ***ing swearing, fine of £1 a word. Had to add this back in for myself, obvs, as it turns out it's quite a profitable little sideline. *holds out hand for cash* A quid or three needs to go in. Rats.

Here I am! Sorry for the absence - I've said that such a lot recently - but it's lovely to see you are all still hard at it. Thanks for asking after Happy Pops, who is much the same really but hanging in there.

Donutneck - thanks for dropping by and good luck with your debt-busting.

Basketcase - nice set of targets and good luck with them all. I need to check out the new YNAB. I'm still on the Classic one and apparently it will be supported until at least the end of this year, but I was gutted when I heard it's being 'improved'.

Honey, Dolphin, Joey - you are my heroines!

    My own update :o:o
    • Finances. The only good bit. Payday on Tuesday and the debts are finally below £40K. I paid just £93 interest this month which has made me happy. Next stop 50% :)
    • Healthy eating. I'm doing rubbish with this and have decided to adopt Dolphin's NCD approach. So far I have a score of zero.
    • No more than one small glass of wine daily Hmm. Managing most days but I have my moments
    • Keep the house half-decent Oh dear........

Lovely to hear from you Mrs HappyNow. Very well done on the money front. Below £40k on your unsecured debts is brilliant :T and it's amazing how much your mortgage has reduced over that time too. You are doing fantastic!

Not to worry about your other targets, more *coping vibes* coming your way.

Well I'm sort of safe as I don't like chocolate. And please don't make me lick the tortilla chips or Seabrook crinkle cut please.

Lovely to see you Mrs Happy and that you are doing so well with the finances which is tough at the best of times, but tougher when you are having to deal with everything else too and then some.

Boxes stacked in the space, shelving unit in front with very unnaturally tidy bedding and towels and it sort of looks ok. The cat has taken to hiding behind it and rushing out at anyone who dares walk by however.

And I got a lovely phone call offering me some slightly regular paid work outside the house today which was very welcome. I love my little businesses and my paid at home work, but I have been feeling the lack of interaction for a while now. This will get me out of the house for several hours on a few days and they're happy to pay me self-employed for now. Its not a great deal of money but that wasn't really the point and it was 'spare' time so I'm not going to moan.

    Yoohoo Happy!

You've cracked it, Dolphin! 6 NCDs! Well, it's progress anyway and that what counts.
    • Carry on with contacting possible outlets, a county a fortnight should be about right. Still: Must make a listy. And some phone calls.
    • 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Changed superking, gave clean bedding to Other Lodger so she could remake her own bed, ... er, not much else. Which is a bit of a problem.
    • No sugary stuff until Easter Sunday. Copious amounts of Twinks scoffed. *sigh*
    • No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm. Tick and not sure. Unlikely, I think.
    • 5 fruit and veg a day. Sorted.
    • Spring clean the office - dust the shelves first. Nuffink.
    • Electric toothbrush once a day. Tick.
    • No ***ing swearing, fine of £1 a word. Had to add this back in for myself, obvs, as it turns out it's quite a profitable little sideline. *holds out hand for cash* Better.
