The cumulative difference when it works is brilliant, though and Happy's Thread is the only way I've been able to stick with it.
Ta muchly for the contribution, Chev. I hope your Manic May of unpacking your stuff will be in the fine company of Happy's Happy Band.

Brilliant weightloss Dolphin! Taking it steadily instead of going on a crash diet always seemed to be the more intelligent choice to me.- Carry on with contacting possible outlets, a county a fortnight should be about right. Calls should have been made but dealing with my pension suddenly seemed rather urgent instead.
- 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Still nuffink. I seem to have got out of this habit.
- No sugary stuff until Easter Sunday. Pudding scoffing going well. Waste not want not.
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm. Back on track.
- 5 fruit and veg a day. I think I was okay. Back on track with porridge and dried fruit this morning.
- Spring clean the office - dust the shelves first. Now only [STRIKE]seven[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]six[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]four[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]three[/STRIKE] two days on this one. Oh whoops.
- Electric toothbrush once a day. Ticketty boo!
- No ***ing swearing, fine of £1 a word. Had to add this back in for myself, obvs, as it turns out it's quite a profitable little sideline. *holds out hand for cash* Contributions, anyone? Things are bit dire here.

:hello: HappyNow! Hope you are ok!
Update for yesterday...
1) None eaten :j (so now on 13 NCDs).
2) Just over 11,000 steps :j.
3) Light off at 10.50pm(but then I kept getting disturbed by noisy neighbours coming and going, not the ones next door thankfully, until about 2.00am , wouldn't mind so much if it was the weekend).
4) No spends on other people :j.
5) I have now finished everything that I wanted to do in the kitchen :j (I finished off by wiping down door frames, skirting boards, tiles and a few marks off the walls so I am now done. I am going to have another go at the oven in a couple of months though because I think that I can do a better job.)0 -

I'm seriously impressed, Dolphin. The kitchen is without doubt the most complicated room to get clean, so I take my hat off to you. Well done.
You're doing so well on all your other targets, too. Hugely congratulations on being brilliant.Better is good enough.0 -

- Carry on with contacting possible outlets, a county a fortnight should be about right. Have made pension decisions. It all seems very grown up. I think I even understand about annuities now. How sad is that?
- 15 minutes a day flying five days a week. Still nuffink. I seem to have got out of this habit. Thank goodness it's the 31st, because this target can get kicked into touch once and for all. It'll get done when it gets done.
- No sugary stuff until Easter Sunday. I found a free chocolate Easter bunny hiding on the mantelpiece. I seem to remember we'd intended to give it to Brilliant Lodger, but as she was staying away over Easter we sort of forgot. I ate his ears, his arms and most of his chest last night, leaving the rest for OH. But he doesn't like milk chocolate. What a shame.
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm. Back on track and waking up early again. Lovely.
- 5 fruit and veg a day. May have slipped a bit yersterday so today will involve chickpeas.

Now only [STRIKE]seven[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]six[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]four[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]three[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]two[/STRIKE] one day[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE] on this one. If my back feels better later and I remember I'm supposed to be doing this it might get done. Then again, it might not.

Don't know how long it will stay clean but I will try and keep on top of it as much as possible.

Thanks but I think that I'm going to take a break from setting formal targets for April. I'm hoping that they are so ingrained now that I won't let them slide too much but at the moment it feels like they have taken over my life especially the naughty eating one. Yesterday when I went shopping, I spent a whole five minutes deciding whether or not to buy a packet of biscuits. They were in and out of my basket three times because I felt so guilty for even thinking about getting them. I think I need some time off for good behaviour
. I promise that I will cheer you on from the sidelines if you decide to carry on into April

Update for yesterday...
1) One whole biscuit eaten  (so still on 13 NCDs and not going to make my target of 15 but I may still get 14 if I'm good today and would be very happy with that because even when I have succumbed, I haven't gone over the top).
2) Just over 10,000 steps :j.
3) Light off at 10.15pm :j.
4) No spends on other people :j.
5) Kitchen finished :j.0 -
Aye up! I couldn't let March disappear without a last minute skid-by to dish out a few pompoms.
Those are my first literal pompoms so I hope they work.
Many thanks for all the waves and good wishes. It's all been a bit crap recently (definitely not a swear word, I'm not paying) and it will probably stay that way for a while. That's really no excuse for neglecting my diary though, so I've only myself to blame for the utter failure with every single one of my targets.
There's no real improvement with Happy Pops and it's all getting very wearing for Happy Mum. And for the rest of us too obviously, but she's the one most affected. Things will have to change soon but for now everyone is battling on and trying to smile.
I know Dolphin is having a very well-deserved rest in April, but if anyone else is still feeling targetty I would love to join back in. In fact I NEED to join back in! I'm going to bed now to plan some challenges.
Thanks for all the support over the last few weeks, people. I really do appreciate it. :T:TLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Is it only me that finds that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:? Scoffing mindlessly is the issue, knowing that putting them in the basket and leaving them in it so you take them home is the problem, so I'd regard that five minutes as a wonderful sign that this idea works.
To be honest, I've been scoffing crud for England over the past few days and it feels absolutely wonderful to be so self-indulgent, but there will come a day when I decide that I want the benefits of not doing so, and then it will stop. For a bit.
In the meantime, good on you for achieving what you set out to achieve, and keep rooting for those of uswho are still battling to get some kind of order into our lives, please. I can use all the help I can get.
