So glad to hear that your Dad's doing better, Happy. Hope the rest of the month is better for you.
The first week has been a complete fail for me :rotfl:. I'm going to put it down to the horrid virus I've been fighting off and try starting again. So..
Drink 4 glasses of water a day 6 today
Eat 3 portions of fruit/veg a day 2 in minestrone soup and sweetcorn for tea
Have a proper breakfast 5 days a week (biscuits and tea doesn't count) Erm...

Run 3 times a week. Hmm. Sounds horribly like a seriously nasty way to spend any time at this time of year.Get 7-9 hours sleep a night. No screens after 9.30 pm Signing off now

If it were easy, we wouldn't be joining in Happy's Thing, would we? All progress counts, that's the point of it. (And some of us have been known to drop a target or three during the month if it's too much like hard work.)Better is good enough.1 -
- Meal plan from existing stocks as much as possible every week Tick. OH is chairing a meeting here tonight and decided last night at 11.15 that he wanted to make everyone a pancake. *sigh*

- Stop ****ing swearing. Fine £1 a word for each ****ing occurence Three quid in.
- Identify and contact five outlets for each working day in February, so that's 21 in all Er ....
- 15 minutes s a day flying five days a week I dusted. I hate dusting.
- No sugary stuff one day a week for the first week, two days a week for the second week, three days a week in Week 3 and four days a week in Week 4. Hobnobs baked and quality controlled extensively. I'm going to make the most of Shrove Tuesday.
- No computer after 9.00 pm (except my ipod so that I can choose my night-time listening) and lights out by 11.30 pm Tick. Finally.
- 5 fruit and veg a day Tick.
- Electric toothbrush once a day. Done. I'm so looking forward to the day that this doesn't need to be on the list but it still really, really has to be here, even after all these months. So much for that rubbish that you only have to do something three times, or for a week or a month for a new habit to be created.

Update for yesterday...
1) I had some toast with butter on for breakfast.
2) Only 2,000 steps(I didn't leave the house at all and had a lazy day after going to bed so late the previous night).
3) Light off at 10.30pm :j (because I was shattered but it was completely self-inflicted).
4) No spends on other people :j.1 -
Hi all, and thanks for the good wishes. The upside-down-ness continues but two rooms are decorated and returned to a new normal. Four rooms are now in a state of dumped-in or discarded. The charity shop workers in 4 different shops now know my name and greet me personally and yet there is still so much more stuff left to go. I'm becoming more ruthless - Kon Marie has nothing on me right now, and I was reflecting last night how I don't miss anything that I've given away including evening gowns and handbags.
I'm glad you are all doing well with those targets, even if the odd slip up is happening, keeping on trying is still better than not doing it at all.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

- Meal plan from existing stocks as much as possible every week Tick with a variation; after the very successful pancake fest, OH decided tuna stuffed baked potatoes were perfect for supper. Very glad I have a B List of substitutes as well as the meal plan itself.

- Stop ****ing swearing. Fine £1 a word for each ****ing occurence Only one to go in even though I think I should be allowed to tell the chap from 'Microsoft's Technical Department' to F off after he shouted at me. I think it's perfectly reasonable for me to tell him that he's a liar and a thieving fraudster but for some reason he got angry. Can't think why.
- Identify and contact five outlets for each working day in February, so that's 21 in all Success! Five contacts down, 100 to go.
- 15 minutes s a day flying five days a week Shower room and carpets on the bottom layer. So much in one day, I had to have a quick rub down with the Radio Times.

Update for yesterday...
1) I had some toast with butter on for breakfast. Is toast sinful?
2) Only 2,000 steps(I didn't leave the house at all and had a lazy day after going to bed so late the previous night). Resting your muscles, surely.
3) Light off at 10.30pm :j (because I was shattered but it was completely self-inflicted).
4) No spends on other people :j.
Pretty good going, it seems to me.Better is good enough.0 -
Update for yesterday...
1) I had some chocolate sponge cake with cream(Mrs Honey Bear, it wasn't the toast that was sinful on Monday but the butter which I can't allow myself to have because I use far too much of it
).
2) Just over 14,000 steps :j (needed to make up for doing next to nothing on Monday).
3) Light off at 10.30pm :j.
4) No spends on other people :j.0 -
HoneyI had one of those Microsoft Windows computer guys tell me he was going to call me every day and track me down and stalk me. I wonder what their incentive to make those calls is?LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
