Update for yesterday...
1) I had a few small savoury biscuits with some butter on.
2) Light off at 10.50pm
3) Back exercises done twice.0 -
Thank you for that, Dawnybabes. I'll bear it in mind if I follow this lark up for a longer time, although, as I say, I really do like the G3n!u$ Three Seed loaf. I haven't tried their others but years ago I tried GF bread and it all tasted like soap, so there's obviously some advantage to the number of people who think they'd like to go GF totally even without medical need.
Lovely to see you posting again Joey, and well done, Dolphin on your getting back on to it. (See what I did there?)
Now. Confession time. Oops.Better is good enough.0 -
- No computer after 9.00pm. No tick.
- Five fruit and veg a day. Not a tick.
- 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. No tick.
- Go flour-free. No tick and there won't be one for today, either, as I've just scoffed the leftovers. On the plus side, I've not had the huge energy dip today that I had last week, so I think it was a sugar spike and nothing to do with eating something made with vast amounts of filo pastry.
- New for Suptember 2: Use the electric toothbrush at least once a day. I hate doing it, but it's so much more effective than the old fashioned one, so if I make it official I might stick to it. Tick.

Thanks. Feel a bit more in control today, suspect hormones are the root cause of it but in keeping busy to distract myself I have at least achieved a bit more off the endless household list so its not too disabling.
I like cider vinegar for preserving though do my pickled onions in good old fashioned malt vinegar as I like that harsh edge on them.
Mouthwash is a great divider but the consultants I see swear that you should not use it straight after cleaning your teeth - the benefits of most of these modern toothpastes are greater if you leave them in your mouth for a while after brushing. So even spitting out is minimised. It takes a bit of getting used to. I now use mouthwash - a treatment one -- about an hour after cleaning my teeth based on her advice. Does it make a difference? I have no idea, but its what she told me to do so I do it.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Thanks, Joey. I had a bottle of cider vinegar as well as the wine vinegar. I'll try that when I'm making the next lot, whenever that is. It rather depends on what I'm given on Saturday, if anything.
I'm aware of the mouthwash issue, but unfortunately for me I know exactly when I've forgotten to use it and it's ususally because I think I should leave it for a bit as the advice says. And then it doesn't get done because I forget and when I do my teeth in the morning I am reminded I forgot. This is a situation where it is the lesser of evils.Better is good enough.0 -
Well done, Dolphin. Less you get complacent, naggity nag nag nag, naggity nag.Better is good enough.0

- Five fruit and veg a day. Not a tick. Not entirely my fault - it didn't occur to me that OH would think that a chopped and fried onion would make a great second veg with dinner. So, although I had more than five portions, only four were different. I can't be cross with him - he cooked. He's a :A.

- Go flour-free. No tick, due to the secret leftover scoffing, but other than that, I was.

I'm having a day off from the back exercises today, I think I've overdone it as I seem a bit too sore.0 -
Unususal for a mum, I have to say, most of us were never good enough for their precious babies in my experience. That may speak volumes about me that I'd rather not think about too carefully, though. It only took OH's mum 15 minutes to mention the one and only girlfriend of his that got away that she liked, apparently that was a new record even for her!
That's a real shame, Honey. Did she come to love you as time passed? Actually, now you mention it, Granny Happy seemed delighted for me to take Mr Happy off her hands, just as I am with Master Happy. Must say something about the Happy Chappies!!
Oooh, naked gee gees.
For the last few weeks of last winter, one horse's rug was literally tied on with string each day! I've just had to shell out £55 for him a new one now it's coming colder. Horses are SUCH an expensive hobby. If I had my time again ........:D
Calming *lavender-type peaceful sleeping vibes* for you.
Thankyou. But please send more because those didn't work!
