    • No computer after 9.00pm. Tick.
    • Five fruit and veg a day. Seven I think in the end.
    • 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Must.do.dusting.
    • Go flour-free. I ate a Madeleine yesterday thinking it was only teeny so it wouldn't matter, and the fact that I feel exhausted today probably has nothing to do with it, but .....
    • New for Suptember 2: Use the electric toothbrush at least once a day. I hate doing it, but it's so much more effective than the old fashioned one, so if I make it official I might stick to it. Pleased with self - again.
    Better is good enough.

    Update for yesterday...

    1) Went to Pizza Express so had a chocolate brownie with cream.
    2) Light off at 11.00pm. Going to change this target to 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 11.00pm on Friday and Saturday. 10.30pm is too early for the weekend.
    3) Back exercises only done once but already done them once today so twice today is definite.

Sorry to hear that, and I hope your back feeling tickety boo today.

Tsk tsk. But it was probably worth it, wasn't it?

Totally agree. OH now switches the light out at 11.30 with me (a miracle!) but on the weekends he never even comes upstairs before midnight.

Our glorious leader is notable by her absence - again. I strongly suspect wine has been bought and quaffed, and smarties have been scoffed.

    • Go flour-free. Been very stern with myself since the Madeleine and gradually each day since I've had a bit more energy.

Here I am! Unfortunately there's not been much quaffing or scoffing, just lots of family around and no time/privacy for diarying. So, update for the last couple of days:

Money - £16 on supermarket essentials, £65 of borrowed money (from Christmas fund) on horse food. Those proportions are all wrong! Not much can be done about that though, they've got to be fed and I'm getting it at the cheapest place. I will order a month's worth on payday, plus a bit extra to try and build up a stock for winter.
Myfitnesspal - I've been lax with this and haven't kept it updated. I might have gone over my 1700 calories, or I might have kept it just under. Sheer laziness/tiredness on my part. I do find it a lot harder when I'm not getting enough sleep and that's a problem for some reason this month.
Daily diary - :o. I will do better!
LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

    Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,332

I hope the family being around has been cheering and enjoyable. Sorry if that sounded like a nag too far - it wasn't meant to be.

Let's hope for a mild, short winter. I'm always heartened by dry spells even if they're not warm but the weather we've had recently has seemed exceptionally mild. I know it's colder Oop North, but I hope it's been at least warmer and dryer than normal. (The grass is still growing here.)

Do you know what causes the sleeplessness? It's horrible when it keeps happening. OH keeps a lavendar sachet under his pillow now after years of broken sleep and has been known to spray a bit of lavendar oil stuff over them when he's thoroughly fed up with waking up and not being able to get back to sleep. I hope you find a solution.

Daily diary - :o. I will do better!

Catch up on your sleep first, and then you'll be able to bounce back into it, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
