- No computer after 9.00pm. I had to check the time when I came to bed last night to see if I could allow myself a few games of Mahjong Titans and Radio 4 *bliss* but it was 9.03, so that was that and I started a new book, which turned out to be a bit boring. I shan't bother with the rest of it. Apparently I was asleep by 10.00 pm!
- Five fruit and veg a day. Not sure I've got this one sorted; dates, apple, blackberries, er, that's it.
- 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Must get back into this.
- Go flour-free. Two exceptionally gingery biscuits got scoffed, and we had French bread with soup so, no, not yesterday by any stretch of the imagination. Back on course today.
- New for Suptember 2: Use the electric toothbrush at least once a day. I hate doing it, but it's so much more effective than the old fashioned one, so if I make it official I might stick to it. And I know I have to put it on this list because it didn't happen yesterday.

Are you sure that's all the fruit and veg that you are having? You'd be surprised how much hidden fruit and veg you can consume. Was there none in your soup or anything else you had yesterday?0 -
Update for yesterday...
1) None eaten.
2) Light off at 10.50pm.
3) Back exercises done twice.0 -
Thank goodness all of my physio has always been on the NHS. I know people sometimes moan about the NHS but generally I think it is amazing and I am really thankful that it is available to us for free (well, not really but you know what I mean).3) Back exercises done twice all three days :j.3) Back exercises done twice.LBM Dec 2011. Have you done them today? If not, NOW is a really good time!
Actually, I haven't done them at all today because I have been so busy but I have 20 minutes before I go back out so I will do them now and then try and do them again later before I go to bed. Thanks for giving me the kick up the butt that I need.0 -

If you can why not just log on and put your address and details in and save that, there's nothing worse than a blank page is there? Like having to do an essay, its always easier to continue with something than it is to start with an empty page just staring at you. You don't need to submit it for months yet so you could fill it in a bit and it will save your progress, so you could muse on it for a while till you are sure you have put everything in as you would wish to do. I often do the basics on mine and then come back when I've dug out any interest paid/received etc forms at a later (often last minute) date.
Oh and do learn to samosa your carrier bags - lots of you tube videos will show you how but here is one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po7A9Tl-YM0- I cannot promise that it is either a good use of your time or even very useful but it is oddly satisfying. The other things that I have learned from Kon Mari has been folding fitted sheets, changing a duvet in a burrito roll - will try and find a video for that, and the way of folding t-shirts so that they stand up by themselves. Some of the other stuff I've flirted with but not wholeheartedly adopted. The process of keeping/discarding stuff by finding out if 'it brings you joy' and/or coupled with 'do you ever wear it/what are you keeping it for' is also very sage.
I watched the samosa-ing vid and tried it out with several carrier bags. It was surprisingly enjoyable at first, and they do take up a lot less room, but I don't think neatness comes naturally to me. Nor does patience! On the whole I think I'm a stuffer not a folder!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

I was! I was completely shocked too, because she'd seemed quite happy when we went in. It was no reflection on the groomers, they were lovely, but GSDs are very much 'Velcro dogs' and I think being left in a strange place was all too much for her, especially at that age. She was the same when I left her with the vet on spaying day. In her own environment she's completely chilled and relaxed - no hint of separation anxiety - but she definitely likes familiar things and places!Honey_Bear wrote: »- New for Suptember 2: Use the electric toothbrush at least once a day. I'm quite nervy about the dentist so anything that makes fillings etc less likely is a great idea in my book.
Several years ago I started getting receding gums from overbrushing with a normal toothbrush so the dentist recommended switching to an electric toothbrush and since then they haven't got any worse and actually feel like they have improved although I'm not sure that's possible. Very occasionally I forget to charge it and have to use a normal toothbrush and I really don't like it.0 -
I made a start on the tax return. Yay! I've found out all the required paperwork and input his name and address. Tomorrow I am off work so I have pledged to get it done. Please give me a kicking if I don't do it!

I will mutter at you about the tax return with pleasure.
And the carrier bag thing was odd, it sort of crept up on me. I enjoyed the first few, then found it a chore, but now its the first thing I do with any empty one. I find it somewhat therapeutic.
And I'm another electric toothbrush convert. I have several dental issues, thanks to a car hitting me when I was younger, but my trusty electric toothbrush (and a rather fab dental team) has meant I've hung on to them far longer than was predicted. I hate having to use a manual now.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Update:
Money - £45 spent on supermarket shopping on Sunday, £25 on petrol for Mr H. Mr H also withdrew £10 for a haircut - I'm pretty sure the haircut didn't cost £10, I think he's stashed the change in his bacon sandwich fund. I'm going to let it go because he's got a bad leg and the sarnies cheer him up. I blew £1 today on my standard Monday O2 Priority Moment lunch, but I went all sensible and bought from Boots instead of Dominos. See below.
Myfitnesspal - this is going well and my clothes do feel a bit looser. The extra 100 calories daily come in very handy and it's actually quite easy to maintain now. My O2 Priority Moment £1 lunch today was a Boots carrot, houmous and coriander sandwich, a fruit salad, and an Innocent smoothie. Very healthy but it cost 531 calories and I think I could have had a Dominos for that. I've run out of wine (can't think how that happened) so there's no more until payday on 15th now, and I'm drinking tea instead.
Post daily - missed yesterday for the first time, because I didn't have any time alone.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
