Yesterday (day 21)...
1) No chocolate, sweets or biscuits.
2) No cake.
3) Light out at 11.20pm. Feeling really tired at the moment though so could do with a couple of earlier nights.
4) Rubbish. I'm just going to plan a day ahead for the rest of the week using up what I have in the fridge/freezer/cupboards.

Ooh, fun targets for June. I like the sound of that. It was kind of a given for me anyway. During June I will:
- Continue with my money-saving ways (seriously, I do this for fun nowadays)
- Research some good holiday reading and get them on Mr H's kindle before we go
- Not fall into bed without removing any make-up and applying face cream
- Sort out all clothes, clean wardrobes & drawers, and be ruthless about decluttering stuff I will never wear
- Keep house tidy-ish
- Military-style preparation for two weeks away from home. This will include an irrational amount of worrying about leaving the animals behind, even though both kids will both be here to see to them. I will also worry irrationally about the kids!
- Two weeks off for good behaviour 12th to 26th June when I can do what the hell I like provided I don't waste too much money. Must include plenty of red wine and multiple ice-creams
LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,3320 -
We have internet problems here - mobile service from Three has been down for almost a week now so I can only get on-line by tethering Mr H's phone. They've told us it will be sorted by Friday, but we will see. In the meantime I might not be around much.
So, last couple of days:- Money. Farrier visit £70, T*sco £82, petrol £65 between us.
- Healthy eating. Is rhubarb crumble and custard healthy? If so I have done REALLY, REALLY GREAT
- Water. I am awash
- Sleep. Still not great but I am forcing myself to stay in bed all night
- Spring cleaning Nope, but I am up to date with laundry and the place doesn't look as bad as sometimes
- Sit-ups Back still aching so I'm officially removing this from my target list.

Wow, go you, I've not even given my June targets a thought yet. They might end up being the same as May at this rate.

Oh dear, that's a nuisance, I'm lost without internet access. Wonder if Three will have it sorted by Friday , I wouldn't put any money on it.

Yes, of course it's healthy.

I know what you mean, I was awake at 4am with an active mind and it took me ages to get back to sleep. - Spring cleaning Nope, but I am up to date with laundry and the place doesn't look as bad as sometimes

Very sensible :T.
Me too!
Again, I have to write something here as my message is too short.0 -
Yesterday (day 22)...
1) No chocolate, sweets or biscuits.
2) I had a chocolate brownie and it wasn't even very nice but I really wanted something sweet and it was the only gluten free option available to me.
3) Light out at 10.20pm. I was shattered so couldn't keep my eyes open but then I was awake at 4am with an active mind and it took me over an hour to get back to sleep.
4) Still planning a day at a time.

Hello all. Its all sounding very productive on here. I've been over-busy with the paid stuff - a new project that was very badly thought out by someone else and resulted in me running round town like a loon and then working 36 hours on the trot to sort it all out to meet the deadline. Even writing that makes me feel tired still. Yesterday I had a nap from 1pm-4pm, woke up for a snooze then went to bed at 8pm...and today I'm still woolly headed. And have the paperwork to double-check still but at least they will pay me which will go towards DS1 and my trip to London after his GCSEs are finished. Really looking forward to that.
June for me will be all about sustaining him through the end of his exams, enjoying the last few weeks of DS2 in primary and the start of the end of term stuff like School Summer Fair etc. Its looking a bit angsty and hectic from this side but will get better and better as the month progresses, I know.
So, I've really got July in my sights for starting to think about me projects - June may be about counting to ten, endless cups of tea and picking up damp towels :eek:LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Wow Happy, your farrier is good value.
£90 set of four here.0 -
Dolphin - you are still on fire and those pounds must be falling off you. I have a friend whose husband has to be gluten free and it costs them a fortune so you have my sympathies. Hope you slept OK last night.
Joey - I'm exhausted just reading that, good luck. It's really hard for parents when kids are doing exams! My daughter sat the final exam of her degree on Tuesday and I felt mangled like I'd done it myself! Join in whenever you feel ready and in the meantime just drop in for a natter
Alchemilla - I've had the same farrier for 33 years! The £70 was for both horses. They are retired and it covered a trim for one and a trim plus refitting two fronts and gel pads for the other. He has dropped soles so the gel pads help hold everything where it should be and stop him being sensitive to stones etc. If it wasn't for that we would get away with 8 weekly trims, but it's every 6 weeks nowLBM Dec 2011. - I'm sure stroking the dog counts, really.
- Done!
- Not eating much for 24 hours certainly helps with weightloss.
- The interesting part of the last 48 hours is that I haven't actually slept a huge amount, I just haven't had any energy.
- No Flying, unless setting the dishwasher going counts.
Normal service will be resumed shortly.
Better is good enough.0 - I'm sure stroking the dog counts, really.
