Hi
am thinking of making my mum a large photo gift
by using like a cork board or something and covering the whole thing in photos and quotes ect.
Has anyone seen something like this so i can get some inspiration/ideas and has anyone seen a board that would be suitable?
Many thanks!Saving and buying for Christmas 2013!! :rudolf::xmassmile:xmastree::snow_grin0 -
http://sistersdear.blogspot.co.uk/2010/09/family-proclamation.html. Hi does it have to be a cork board or will a frame work. This is an idea you could work with by finding a nice poem for the middle.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Well i have a whole new craft to start getting on with! My hubby has just purchased a Laser cutter!! Eeeek
He has nagged for months and when i eventually saw what it can do i finally agreed hehe. It can cut wood, card and papers, metal, plastics.....it can engrave too. I don't even know where to start!
Think i am going to make the children some door plaques and take it from there. Any ideas anyone?0 -

No it doesn't hav to be a cork board, infact now im not gunna use a cork bpoard. was thinkin maybe a really thick piece of material and cover in photos and quotes.
Anyone seen any examples like this?

Madz, is this idea any good... http://www.studio62.co.uk/montages.html you can omit some photos and put quotes in. A friend of mine buys a large clip frame and cuts photos out, people etc, getting rid of the parts she doesn't want or need. She also adds the odd word like family Christmas 2009 etc. they look fantastic. I like the one in the link as I like how they are all mounted on black. You could mount your quotes on black to link photo and quotes together. If this is no good simply do a google image search for "Montage"Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0
