hehe after following this thread and laughing, i caught a cheeky woman rifling through my trolley and trying to steal my reduced sausages. couldn't believe it as it also had a case of bud and a bottle of vodka so was not just a reduced trolley :rotfl::love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-09 0 0

            Walkie Talkies? My god!
Also, with regards to chicken man, i would have smacked him upside the head!:rotfl:
My local morrisons shuts at 21:00 and Ill pop in at 20:00 a couple of times a week, and its honestly a ghost town, so I dont feel bad taking as much as I want, rather that than it getting binned! Ill usually drop off some stuff for my mum on the way home if Ive got too much.
But I was literally the only person in Morrisons tonight, got 3 bags of shopping for less than £4. I got 4 pick n mix pies for 59p. I just gave two to my mum! And a fresh baked blackcurrent pie for 50p, there goes the new year diet!Won 2012:Bobbi Brown Mascara / TRIA System

            Hahaha walkie talkies!
I go straight to the reduced section in Mr W now, first fridge then grocery. I always give room for others to take a look as I probably wasn't going in to buy the item specifically anyway and I'm only little old me. Their bread is always reduced about 7pm so I can always do the 2min walk down the road the next evening to get them. I've been in Mr T with some right pushy people there though pushing me out of the way so they can take everything. I just laugh as they're probably buying stuff they won't use anyway and spending more than they intended wohaha.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I used to reduce food in sainsburys when I was a teen. I used to reduce everything that was a little damaged. For 3 years I only lived on that, and it was all as per mgt guidelines.
When I used to put out the reductions people would just go crazy. But who could blame them. 9 pack of toilet roll with a cut reduced to 30% to clear.
I also did bread, there was a little old lady who would come in every week for reduced items. I would make sure I reduced it when she was there. As they say every little helps.
Now im on the other side if I'm in a supermarket and I see a reduction and I know we will eat it, I will buy it. Otherwise I tend to bulk buy offers. Best way forward as the prices are just going to go up.0

Supermarkets don't care if you clear it all. It is reduced for a reason - to get rid off. Not as some sort of perk for the loyal customers.
I'd be very happy if all my reductions went at the first mark down stage so I wouldn't need to reduce it down further in price. And so on.0

On boxing day I got 2 bags of shopping from co-op for less than £4. There were some really good reductions. They said there has been a lot of reductions due to lack of interest in in store shopping. The other day in sainsburys I also got 4 pork steaks for 75p!
Have discovered that sainsburys (in Plymouth at least) drop all of their bakery prices between 7.15-7.30, 30-45 minutes before they close. Might be the same in all sainsburys?0

Have found some really good bargains in the bakery section in sainsburys as early as 5pm but its a bit hit and miss.Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I have to admit that I would be happy to take as much as I wanted, BUT if others were there at the same time I would not be blocking off their access nor shouting "It's mine", and might hold back slightly if there were a number of one item.0
