Salt & Vinegar v Cheese & Onion! Which are the ultimate crisps?

I love all crisps EXCEPT salt and vinegar, even if I was starving I would not eat them. Cheese and Onion definitely the best!:T0

Definitely salt and vinegar, can't stand cheese and onion.
All time favourite flavour though has to be Walkers worcester sauce, unfortunately nowhere seems to sell them anymore so not had them for a long time0 -
Salt and Vinegar stings my mouth

I voted Ready Salted - look at the ingredients list on the others.
Ready Salted:- Potato, cooking oil, salt.
Other "flavours":- Potato, flavourings, cooking oil.
If the ingredients matched the flavour I'd eat them, but sadly they do not.0 -
Seabrook salt and vinegar are definately the best, my next fave are Walkers Lamb and mint0

Cheese and Onion, ready salted, mmmmmmmmm
all of themIf everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

I agree with others. I think all the choices confused people. You should change the poll and re-run it. Forget S+V and C+O, just have one, S+V. This should make people see sense. In fact, make MSE Towers a communist state due to this abuse of democracy. The communist snack machine, full of just one flavour. I think some people thought this wasn't serious. Well, I'm sure they will think differently when they are banned. It’s for the good of the web site.0

MSE_Lawrence wrote:Whilst it's nothing to do with MoneySaving, I'm a major crisp fan but only Salt & Vinegar, Worcester Sauce and Pickled Onion count. To settle a serious discourse between myself and philistine Cheese & Onion and Ready Salted fans, I need your votes. If you were marooned on a desert island with only one crate of crisps, which of these (non-poncy) flavours would you hope for?
Barbeque
Beef
Cheese & Onion
Cheese
Pickled Onion
Prawn Cocktail
Ready Salted
Roast Chicken
Salt & Vinegar
Smokey Bacon
Spicy/Hot
Worcestershire Sauce

I thought of this poll as i perused the crisp shelves of a top supermarket.... walkers have tried to solve the cheese and onion vs salt n vinegar in their sensations range....
Caramelised Onion and Balsamic Vinegar........... suprisingly tasty! and neither green nor blue!!
(still like salt n vinegar more!)

note how low cheese came in the listing. I think the fact it was cheesand ONION was the decider. a chees toasty is nice but a cheese and ONION if fantastic.0
