A good salt and vinegar for me:)
People who eat cheese/onion/chive crisps at work should be sacked for stinking the place out!An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

God I loved them. They smelled awful but I didn't care I just walked behind my family eating them. I still travel to various Farmfoods in the vain hope that i might find them again. Farmfoods' is the place all fantasic food goes to linger before obscurity. Also Space Raiders you can't leave an open pack near me. I really want some crisps now.
Oh and Golden Lights (the low fat crisp), oh those are so delicious and yet I can't have them in the house because I eat ten packs in one sitting (they are low fat so really I'm being good.... is what I tell myself). Though note they don't have cheese and onion it's cheese and chive (is there something about the fattening properties of onions we have been warned about?):rotfl:0 -
I agree with Elfmay, I like Disco crisps, S&V or C&O. The flavour is good and I like the texture of the crisps, they are unlike the "usual crisps you get". Ringos too, haven't seen them for years. They have changed the texture of them though, they were better when they were completely smooth rings, now they are like aerated and crunchier, but I prefer how they were prior to that. I remember years ago, there was crisps out, I think they were called Fangs and there was red bags and black bags, with vampires on the front. Does anyone remember them? I like the Fish and Chips crisps too, I think Superdrug does them, or used to. Anyone remember crisps, they were called, I think, Twisters, S&V flavour ones. I think you can still get them but they are not sold by the likes of KP, Walkers etc, just in M&S or Tescos I think. I like Skips type crisps too, or Prawn Crackers with an authentic flavour. I like the Spare Rib flavour Sensations crisps too.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

I AM confused!!! I have been an ardent fan of CHEESE AND ONION crisps since they were first introduced. I am now 53 and am still a fan. There is no comparison, it is simply the best flavour ever. Oh, and by the way, I am not a philistine or a ponce but a well respected Chef!!!

Can anyone remember the Looney toons crisps....I used to have them when I was younger, can't remember who made them but I saved all the packets in a portfolio as I loved the designs............sad I know!!! I was only 10!!

Whilst it's nothing to do with MoneySaving, I'm a major crisp fan but only Salt & Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce and Pickled Onion count. To settle a serious discourse between myself and philistine Cheese & Onion and Ready Salted fans, I need your votes. If you were marooned on a desert island with only one crate of crisps, which of these (non-poncy) flavours would you hope for?
And the results are...
Cheese & Onion - 28.6% (2422 votes)
Salt & Vinegar - 23.1% (1959 votes)
Ready Salted - 15.4% (1308 votes)
Prawn Cocktail - 6.7% (569 votes)
Worchestershire Sauce - 6.5% (553 votes)
Smokey Bacon - 6.2% (528 votes)
Roast Chicken - 3.9% (333 votes)
Pickled Onion - 3.1% (265 votes)
Beef - 2.4% (201 votes)
Hot/Spicey - 1.7% (143 votes)
Barbeque - 1.6% (137 votes)
Cheese - 0.8% (68 votes)
Total Votes: 8486
