We got the message the first time :rolleyes:Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

I agree with you but would like to add in 'fish n chips' which are a minaly northern thing, but still available from poundstretcher, and 1980's M&S potatoe sticks. Plus SnV french fries, but not the crisps themselves, just the little bit of flavouring that remains in the bottom of the packet at the end!
Martin
Great! Couldn't be a 'bubbly' thread I wowed yah on could it! :rotfl:
Ohh yah can't beat Ringo's for the tons of flavouring left at the bottom of the pack! Literally burns yah tongue numb! Fantastic stuff
Ohh now fish & chips, there's a blast from the past. Don't think yah can get more Northern than Liverpool, (awaits tedious geography lesson from someone!:rotfl: ), poundstretcher you say?

MSE_Lawrence wrote:Whilst it's nothing to do with MoneySaving, I'm a major crisp fan but only Salt & Vinegar, Worcester Sauce and Pickled Onion count. To settle a serious discourse between myself and philistine Cheese & Onion and Ready Salted fans, I need your votes. If you were marooned on a desert island with only one crate of crisps, which of these (non-poncy) flavours would you hope for?
Barbeque
Beef
Cheese & Onion
Cheese
Pickled Onion
Prawn Cocktail
Ready Salted
Roast Chicken
Salt & Vinegar
Smokey Bacon
Spicy/Hot
Worcestershire Sauce

Listen to Martin mutter about this: http://mutterings.moneysavingexpert.com/crisps.mp3
IMO the only ones that should be included for the poll are the tried and tested 'Old favourites'
Ready Salted
Cheese and Onion
Salt and Vinegar
These are the go with anything flavours, pop them in a any sandwhich, any lunch box and you'll never offend anyone.
All except Salt and Vinegar which are evil and smell of sweaty feet.
No offence but they are wrong.Panda xx

Salt and vinegar is the only flavour the more eye-wateringly vinegary the better, Mccoy's malt vinegar are the best they're so strong I get a migrane every time I eat them but it's worth it ( and my local pound shop sells them)Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0
