Liberated an old denim shirt and a stonewashed (Euhh!) denim skirt that I got in a charity shop for £1-found a denim dye and have dyed them a dark denim and they look fab! Won't wear them both at the same time though
Have been meaning to get into our wardrobe cupboard thing and have a good sort through -if nothing else I can find stuff to ebay! That's a job for tomorrow!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No 1099 2011/£26.00:j

I have this date tomorrow too!! I like the idea of being owner of my own fashion boutique so I'm going to try and sort out my wardrobe into outfits, so that I am more likely to wear different things and not just the same 5 things! I also need to sort my clothes into maternity and non-maternity so that I dont start to feel fed up with clothes whilst I'm getting bigger!
the other date I have is with my DD's wardrobe, she got so much for her Christmas and has taken a stretch so lots to go through and sort into: ebay, keep, charity and rags!
still not spent a penny so far, so pleased with myself! loving this thread!!:TDebt Free Roll of Honor #598

Being strong and havent gave into the temptation of clothes shopping. I mainly shop online and even though i have been looking, i have restrained myself and not put anything into the basket. Still have £100 left of my budget and hopefully it will stay that wayPAD Maker0

Hello - i don't usually post on this board, but do lurk.
I should like to join the challenge - partly as a way of keeping tabs on what i spend.
So for just me I will have a budget of £250
Have a pair of trousers on order from Fat Face, in the sale, but that came out of birthday money, so still on 0 at the moment. My trousers are largely several years old, and all looking a bit dated now, so may be spending on those.
I have a next voucher and an M&S voucher as gifts and won't count them. I will mainly buy from better quality shops as cheaper shops rarely last. My faves are Fat Face, White Stuff and Joe Browns - though I do need some leggings so don't mind cheaper shops for those.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
£20 to declare on a dress for sister's wedding, in the sale from Monsoon. Still need to get the shoes and accessories to go with it over the weekend, then I will be avoiding the high street for as long as possible.
The only other thing I may need between now and summer, will be a smart pair of trousers, as I can no longer button up my other two pairs due to weight gain.I would prefer to lose the weight and not have to spend anything, but I had a job interview today and will definitely need to buy some if I get the job.

A little moan!!
I purchased two dresses out of my lovely bfs money end of december - two from Monsoon. One costing £25.50 one costing £30 - Monsoon sent me a email today, saying 10% off sale items, and the £30 has gone down to £18.00
I havnt recieved the dresses yet - but I feel a bit 'miffed' about it. I know, sales are you buy when the price is right for you - or you risk waitin gfor it to lower and miss out, but its near as damn it £20 difference - and thats a lot of money to me when doing this challange
Im returning a few items to monsoon anyway as I made my order up so i could get FOC packaging. Im thinking of 'returning' these two dresses and just saying to the till lady, that its being returned for this reason... could you possibly let me re-buy them lovely shop lady?
I feel embarrised to do this though - possibly wouldnt in newlook, but for some reason I see Monsoon shop ladies would look down at me?
Am I just plain rediculous?
I must admit I would prob be a little embarassed as well (though that hasn't stopped me re-buying stuff online that has gone down in price now and will return the more expensive stuff ).
Little plan though - why don't you get a friend (preferably an understanding one) to go in with you, perhaps she could pick up some gloves or something cheap in the sale that can be returned (pay cash and you can return them for her). Get her to stand behind you in the queue, don't act as if you know each other and when you return the items, have her exclaim that they are 'just what she has been looking for' and ask to purchase them (hopefully they will ring through at the reduced price) - if she doesn't want to do the acting, you could do that and have her do the return bit.
I would take the credit for this, but my friend at work mentioned she's done this before with her mum :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

i would not think twice about returning these....I did a similar thing when the online stuff arrived the day I went into town and found the same dress cheaper,I returned the online stuff saying it did not fit,you could always get a friend to buy replacements when you have returned the unwanted ones if you go to the shop rather than online0 -
having been forced to stay home cos am ill:(I have "shopped" in my fav online stores BUT not checked out....sad but I have seen what is on sale and if I really do decide to buy I will go to town next week0
