Afternoon All
Was doing fine on the March no-spends, right up until 30th when I procured some new tops in Mr D's sale - running total now £209.88/£300
Am having Freedom day today - wearing a skirt with one of the aforementioned new tops.
Will aim for a no-spend April - so far, so good

Hello all!
Treated myself to a new dress a couple of weeks ago (it's only a size 20 too :T) and a cardi to go over the top of it as I got tired of having no nice-fitting clothes for when we go out.
Have also ordered some clothes from the catalogue. I know I said I wouldn't but I'm getting tired of hoicking up my one pair of jeans left that kind of fit and am running low on work pants that fit. Weight loss :T - no clothes fitting well! Only ordered things that were in the sale and cheap though as hopefully they won't fit me for too long xx

Morning all, happy to report that I haven't bought a single item of clothing since saturday (mainly because the shops have been closed and I have been pretty much in bed for the past few days feeling ruff).
I am going to regain my focus and save £800 in the next 8 weeks so that I can have my bedroom decorated, door reglazed and back garden sorted.
Onwards and upwards troops

Well I'm one step through my 'clothes which need attention' pile. Two cardi's have had their bobbles trimmed off - one will prob still go to the car boot pile (but looks better after it's trim) and one to go back into my wardrobe.
Also trimmed the bobbles off some gloves I bought in Accessorize about a year ago - got them in the sale and they were the only pair I've ever seen that had a thermal lining (they are the fingerless type with the mitten top bit you can fold back) but they have been worn lots and are rather on their last legs. Am thinking when I come to replace them i could prob get some thermal lining myself and use the lining from these gloves as a pattern to make my own thermal inner (its' only loosely tacked into the gloves I have atm).
Not really a freedom day today but did wear a top to work I haven't worn for a little while. :AFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello lovelies,
sorry I've been absent again; too busy stuffing chocolate in my face at the weekend & went back to work yesterday & the shock laid me flat out last night :rotfl:
Well done on a No Spend February Eltee :A & rosyq - I thought I'd miss-typed your budget so have rectified that for you
It's lovely to read how everyone is supporting & encouraging eachother; this challenge is NOT easy the first time you attempt it.
Many old habits have to be admitted to, then discarded & new ones learnt.
Budgets have to be assessed & sticking to them is tricky.
I know, I've just won another top on ebay & my budget is now a very squeaky £2.69p so I'll be hoping to avoid further shopping for myself or resorting to new methods if I do need anything.
I've achieved enough survey points for a payout & whereas I used to take them in Amazon vouchers, I actually requested a DPs voucher this time so that I do have something to spend with if the craving hits.
Off to update my sig ... & hopefully I'll be getting some of those clappy smilies after my name from next month :rotfl:0 -

Thanks Lula-Hula
I think this is where I am at mentally with clothes and toiletries buying.
Time for a change
sleep well all
