  • Morning!

Ran out of time to pop on yesterday. Feeling a lot better thanks. It's a sunny, chilly day here. Plans are more sorting of things, getting that fire on-so need to get some more logs, and generally pottering about and sorting things out.

Have to say weightwatchers crisps just are not cutting it. I suppose thats the point really ;)

Bought a lovely wooden heart on some string yesterday which is now sitting nicely on one of the curtain poles. Plans today are to get that coffee table shifted out.

Face looks like a dot to dot this morning. Healthy eating brings out many a spot it seems.

Wow, that weekend went quickly. It was a productive one though, which is good. I know I'm sad, but can't wait until wednesday for the new CC statement to come out. 5 weeks to go on friday :)

    Chilly, Chilly, Chilly

Managed to squeeze in an NSD yesterday, despite being very tempted to get all manner of naughty food items on my lunchbreak. I'm also very impatient it seems. Still waiting for my ebayer to pay up, the auction ended at 9 on sunday. Just pay up when the auction ends, not hard. So a reminder invoice has been sent today. If I don't have it by tomorrow they will have to wait until friday for it to be posted. I have a lunch appointment with myself on thursday, I'm going to go to one of our free museums, and I'm not going to cancel on myself.

Plans today are to wrap up. Someone in our office insists that it's summer at the moment , and has the air conditioning on. Yes you heard it right. I just wonder what they'll do in the summer, they'll spontaneously combust even with the air conditioning on. Maybe they'll be working from the freezer when that time comes around.

Hmmm what else?...... decluttering is going well. The rules are this, if I'm likely to get 99p or less for it on the bay, it's going down the charity shop. I've seriously had my fill of queuing up in my lunchbreak in the post office. It's not a pleasant experience I can tell you.

And D'oh! when there is a little voice in your head telling you to get something now, please, please, please heed that voice. Was going to pick up a library book the other day, and thought I'd wait until I'd finished the current one. Now all copies of this book are out on loan throughout the county. New mantra will be 'if you see it, grab it'. This is true of most things in life (just a little naughtyness for a tuesday morning, ha, ha)

  • How rude!

I hardly slept a wink last night. Couldn't wait to see the new CC statement this morning. Guess what? They haven't done it yet. It's always the 18th of the month, always.

Still no sign of a response or payment from my ebayer. My 'please note' section said payment to be received no later than 24 hours after the auction has ended. It is not ok to bid, and just pay when you feel like it. Common courtesy if you want to bid on something and won't be able to pay until the next weekend to send the seller an email first. Honestly!

Anywho, we are half way through the week today, which is fab. I surrendered to Mr T bargains yesterday, I'm only human and I need a little sweet something at 3 in the afternoon at work. So a 6 pack of diet coke, and 5 bounty bars for the bargainacious price of £2.42.

It is bloomin' freezing here. The only patch of the bed that is staying warm is that bit I'm lying on. Electric blanket perhaps? Hmmm

  • Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight and I hope the credit card bill is through for you soon :)

I agree it is reallly cold its been icy white outside for 3 days now hope all is well :)
  • Not a great nights sleep again.

However... new statement is through, it's payday on wednesday taking me to my sig total, and although after I've given OH money, done all the bills and paid CC it leaves me with £50 to get through feb, it's all good.

Sent message to ebayer, after not a sniff of a payment or message explaining non payment. Let's see what happens now.

Spent a little time yesterday lunch trying some clothes on. I can't buy anything for the next few months, but it was nice to try and think that I could buy soon. Good feeling :)

  • Looking forward to payday tomorrow. The last £1 to my name in pocket, just one more day to go :)

Tomorrow will be the last payment made to cc before the DFD on 24 feb, so it really feels like the ball is rolling. Yesterday tried to see if I could get my contributions to my pension paid out. No, it is frozen until I retire. This has largely influenced my decision not to contribute to a pension now. There may be a time in my life where I need access to my money, and I'm not having anyone tell me I can't get my hands on my hard earned.

Going to send off for my credit reports to make sure everything is in order there. Considering applying for a credit card, just so I still have some sort of credit history registered. It also made me think yesterday that there may be times when I just cannot use switch-well mines maestro. I tried to order a credit report online yesterday and they only accepted VISA or Mastercard. We'll see.

Anywho today can just sail by. I've hidden a bounty bar in my drawer at work so I'll get an unexpected (I'm bound to forget it's there) treat later today.

Have a good day everyone. xx

  • Hurrah payday. Here it is, and there it goes £450 on rent £700 to OH for his CC, and £214.41 to my cc and £5 for the mobile phone, leaving me with the grand total of 64.49 for the rest of the month.

Yesterday was a v pants day at work. Determined that today will be better. Oh and I will have an NSD today after forgetting to put my lunch in my bag yesterday ;)
