  • I'm awake at crazy o'clock, so what better thing to do than pay the final balance of that pesky Virgin credit card and make myself debt free?

I have choices now, and some day I'll have more, when we get a place and pay the mortgage off. This week has put things into perspective. no. 1 get rid of the job that I'm doing at the minute, but longer term do work that benefits us, and longer term quit it all together. These are my goals now :)

Can't believe it, for so long I've stuck at jobs I've hated feeling a prisoner in them because I had to pay my debts. No more.

So just one final put the world to rights really....

Screw you bank and your over APR'd loan
Screw you Barclaycard and your rate jacking
Screw you Virgin card and your rate jacking

But most of all and the most satisfying after telling my workplace they can stuff it (oh and that one is coming soon believe me)

A big heartfelt screw you to my ex. I did it! You never knew me atall.

And last but not least, cheers to all the truly lovely people I have met on here and where I live. I couldn't have done it without you.You guys rock! Keep making the world a better place.

    Love Thrifty.

    xx

    Fabulous news!!!!!!

Heres hoping you find a job v. v. quick. In the meantime see your GP and tell him that your supervisors attitude to you makes you want to throw yourself under a car and you need to be signed off sick permanently. You cannot continue to go to a place which makes you feel like that. Even once is once too much.

That aside I couldn't be more chuffed for you!

  • Cheers Moo. I'm over it now. The hardest part was going against my personality and standing up for myself instead of just cancelling the appointment like I would usually. So progress there!!

And thank-you. I'm totally chuffed to have gotten there. xx

Many congratulations, and I agree with Moo. No debts does give you new opportunities. You have done this, you can do anything. I look forward to you popping up on MFW at some point. Enjoy your shopping and the new TV.
