  • So Equifax finally sent their report yesterday- it only took them two weeks. For some reason the value of the property we are renting is on the back of everything I have registered at this address. Well you know, if the landlord decided to secretly give it to us over the christmas break then wahoo!

And where is this 5 cms of snow that was supposed make me snowed in, and therefore not have to spend another carpy day at work. Yesterday was like the rest of the week has been, queue tears and a lump in my throat by the end of the day. That seriously has to change.

Anywho, it's friday and the two week marker is upon me. Despite all attempts not to, I've finally had to dib into the overdraft this month, as essential toiletries ran out. I suspect more purchases will be needed so will probably be around the £20 mark by the end of the month. But this should be the last time that I have to dib into it,and to be fair I haven't used it for at least 6 months.

    Is it saturday? Is it?

Oh yes it is. Wahoo! Goodbye to that carpy week.

So plans are shredding, sorting, photographing for ebay, reading (managed to get hold of that copy of Aleph from the library), and generally vegitating. Mmmm

Oh yes, and this is my last but one weekend of owing anything to those ratejacking sons of diddlys Virgin. Ha, ha!

I think maybe I might start a blog after my DFD date, for just general photos, thoughts and ponderings, and plus I've never had a blog before. Hmmm

  • Honestly OH. I have been waiting for the day to come when he would fall out with the slow cooker, and this is the week it has happened.

We have a freezer and cupboards full of food and he is asking what we should have for this weeks food. He drives me potty sometimes. He has to do the food shopping because he loves food and wants to know what is being bought, so I let him take control of that area. The freezer is his area too, it is packed so that the lid hardly shuts with food that is packed in Tetris style, so that if anyone other than he moves it, they have no chance of working out the pattern to which it should go back.

The cupboard is full of tin upon tin of tomatoes and mixed beans, pulses, pearl barley, rice etc etc, so that the door hardly shuts.

Now when I do the menu for the week, I try to use up things in the cupboard and cross use ingredients in several menus, to use bits up out of the fridge, freezer and anything else that might be on the verge of going off.

He is driving me nuts with this chaotic style. Grrrr

  • OK so after frogmarching OH downstairs to the freezer, we have conducted an audit, and concluded that we could eat like kings for the next month. This is what we will do.

  • A lovely afternoon spent watching 10-15 fieldfares strip the last of the winter berries from the tree outside our window. Brilliant.

  • Well yesterday was a very productive day, was very sleepy though. I'm feeling quite positive, I've been really tired all week-having a good 8 hours sleep and then feeling like I could sleep again, a couple of hours later.

Glad I have my first CBT session this week. Looking forward to it. Yesterday and today I feel weird, tired still, given, I feel happy but in the background I feel like I could cry but I can't (does that sound odd?). Kind of like when you think you are going to sneeze, but it never quite materialises.

I think then perhaps today I should take it easy. I would like to spend the day reading, supping huge cuppas and eating some choccy hobnobs. All very naughty, but also very nice. :)

Today I'm going to put a nice outfit and some spangly shoes on. Because work is carp and this will make me feel better. :)

  • Today cannot be another carpy day, no seriously it can't I'm so sick of it. I want to have the whole Good Life thing now.

So yesterday OH was his usual windy self, but he had a red jumper on, so does that make it Valentine themed?

Still, he did watch Don't tell the bride with me (ok it's my guilty trash tv indulgence), and the couple were so sweet.

Highlights of the week are that OH parents are taking us out for dinner on thursday night, and we're rapidly approaching the 1 week marker to the DFD. I have to say it all seems rather surreal.

Have a good day folks. xx

We might have to actually talk to each other for the next two weeks, or like read books and stuff.
