You can see the full list of titles included in the 12 days of Kindle offer here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=s9_dnav_bw_srch?node=1503253031&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-10&pf_rd_r=1ERNAY964Q5GVQTKJ6JJ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=270259767&pf_rd_i=1503253031
You can then click on the sub-sections (fiction etc. on the left hand side).
Not sure if the price displayed will be lowered further for those books that are for the later days in this offer though, but it does give you a chance to have a good browse and then know whether its worth checking back each day. - perhaps download the free samples in advance.0 -
Cheers op-Got a Kindle as a surprise, spent all day trying to work out how to use it,just downloaded The Takeaway Secret for 99p as a back up for the paperback version-trying to work out how to move page whilst avoiding getting it wet when dipping bits in batter:rotfl:
simple answer, use a small wooden spoon upside down to press the next page button, that way the only thing getting covered in batter is the wooden spoon
Can you spot who had the same problem?0 -
Had a complete shock when my daughter (who's only just started working part time) bought me a kindle for Christmas - bless her little heart. I'm absolutely addicted to the damn thing already, and I'm a real tactile book lover. Who'd have thought it???
I got one for Christmas too - it was also a surprise - and what a good one! I'm an avid reader of paper books, can't get enough of them, and I wasn't sure about using the Kindle but I love it so much, it's fantastic.
Must get some kind of cover so it can live in my handbag for when I'm out and about. You can even web browse with it which I find amazing (OK, not fantastic but it does work!).
I've uploaded a few PDFs of my own - including a spreadsheet saved as PDF which has all my hints and tips for solving the Times crossword (one of my ambitions is to be able to complete the Times crossword regularly). I can do the crossword and have the PDF file (and Kindle dictionary) to check stuff - much handier than my much bulkier (though beloved) laptop.
Hooray for the Kindle. :j0 -

Loving how far my £10 amazon voucher is going with this sale, though I need to stock up with 3 months worth of books for a trip abroad!
Does anyone know if there's a way to mark which books have been read? They mark the just bought ones as 'new' but this disappears if you haven't opened them yet.

For reading in damp or messy environments, try wrapping the Kindle in cling film.
If you have one of the more snazzy ones with a touchscreen then that won't work but you will still be able to use the page buttons.0 -
