It's the most wonderful time of the year. During the 12 Days of Kindle, you'll find hundreds of Kindle books on sale starting from £0.99. Offer ends January 6, 2012.

Hope this is useful for anyone who got a Kindle for Christmas.

    Thanks OP.
For those of you that got Kindles for Christmas, sign up to this site.

    http://www.ereaderiq.co.uk/

It will send you an email every day giving links for all the free books that day. It separates them into different categories too, so you can quickly just scroll down to the section you want.
Just check the kindle price in red at the top before you buy. Sometimes if can be free at the start of the day, but costs full price by the time you look at the email.
If you do purchase by mistake, you can get a refund.
I have a £20 amazon voucher that my sis gave me in May and I haven't used any of it yet. I have over 500 books already including lots of kids books, recipe books, thrillers etc.
Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Just bought that for my hubby, whom I bought a Kindle for this Christmas. He's sat at kitchen table, reading it, quiet :j

Thanks! He's read every Wilbur Smith book over the years.

:j Happy Hubby for you :)

I have all his books and just have two to read, the follow ups to River God (some reason I read The Seventh Scroll) couldn't get into it at the time and decided to give it another go recently when I realised how old it was I was shocked 1993  oh well got there in the end I have about twenty pages left to read an now just have Warlock & The Quest to read.
    Ancient Egyptian
    1. River God (1993)
    2. The Seventh Scroll (1995)
    3. Warlock (2001)
    4. The Quest (2007)

My husband started to read them many years ago then didn't keep up but is happy with the two I just got for him on Kindle. The Newest book WS has written earlier this year (Those in Peril -2011)
only being 99p on Kindle right now.

Sounds like we have two happy husbands thanks to OP pointing out the 12 days offer. :)

I have the Kindle app for my IPad and I think that's just as good as the Kindle. I'm finding this reading lark quite addictive.
