Morning all, got to take eldest to school soon, tried talking to her this morning saying that we are going to cut her drinks down and try that again, told her she can have her drink at tea time and then a couple of sips of water before bed and then we will see how we do, have been told that lifting them out of bed is not a good thing as you are meant to be teaching them to hold it through the night but all you are doing is encouraging them to wake at a certain time of night - anyone have any opinions??

Going to go to the local discount store this morning and get ohs red bull copy for the month he goes through so much and just won't give it up.

Hoping to get a review written before I go to work this afternoon - really dreading work as we are getting two nursing patients on our usually residentail floor today and not really sure what to expect as have never done nursing before.

Morning all

Had a good talk with YD yesterday evening. OH was quite calm to be honest, more than me but I tried to keep quiet and let him do the talking. She is bored with her course she is on, said its not what she was thinking it would be and she isnt getting anything out of it. She said she has found some jobs to apply for but when she told us they are either tele sales or cleaning. We have told her she cant leave college until she gets a job but I dont know what is going to happen if she is just not getting on with it. We are going to see what days the Connexions place is open this morning and then go and see them and see if they have any advice for us all.

I had a few surveys this morning but didnt qualify for any of them. Need to check T in a bit and see if there is anything on there yet. I am so close to a redeem on there again.

I have finally got round to signing up to DooU and Chow today, not really sure I understand what I have to do so I will take some time to look around both sites but one question I hope someone can help me with - is there any point reviewing items that other people have already reviewed or do you only review items that noone else has reviewed? Thanks

Rufus, sorry to hear about your concerns with YD, how far is she into her college course? is it to late to change and study something different which she might find more interesting and inspiring?

She started in September Claros so not sure whether its too late to change over.

I have redeemed on T and my points are back up to over 20,000 again already. I have two outstanding from there now, both £15 amazon vouchers.

If she only started in September then thats just one term so it might not be too late to change - maybe she might consider changing her course to something else, perhaps something that her friends are studying and enjoying? I know it was quite a long time ago now but when I first started college I really didnt enjoy it and thought about quitting but then I went to visit some friends who were at University and thought wow this looks great fun I really want to do this so stuck with the college and it did get a lot better, sometimes the first stages of courses can be a bit dull because they are bringing together people from different backgrounds and want to make sure that they cover the basics for everyone. I hope you manage to get it all sorted so everyone is happy

Claros - review anything and everything!! on dy there is no bonus for doing a first review although there is on chow where the money per rate doubles so it is worth adding new products (so you can be first to review them) and watching out for items that don't have reviews on. Could you pm me your user name for both and I will add you to my circle. xx

I am a member and while there are not many sent through they do credit the points and pay out quickly.

They also seem a bit better for qualifying as I dont get screened out of nearly as many.

I think it is worth giving a go as while it takes a long time to get to the payout threshhold it does not take up a lot of time to fill them in.

Morning everyone,

I've been on a long walk this morning and done some of my out of the house jobs. Got just shy of an hour till I pick up the little one, so just starting for the day. Good luck for crown day.
