When I said up the town I meant I would have a look in the charity shops and see if there is anything in there I can use, may be a duvet cover or sheet or something.
I love charity shop fabrics, some people give away the nicest bed linen!
I picked up some last wednesday and it was 1/2 price for £1.25 for a single bed quilt with little ditsy print flowers on it. super cute!.

Hollie how do you manage to do so well with coupons I just don’t know how people do it would love to know.
Welcome back xrestricted like you, I did well to begin with last year but dropped off after the summer. Hoping to do better this year.
Bad Bad day for me today. New washer arrived so been stuck doing the washing! Youngest son was at the doctors, he has an infection so I have been told potty training needs to stop till it clears. Spent this afternoon cleaning the floors as the delivery guys made a mess of it bringing the washing in. So no money making here.GC 2015: Aug £272.21 /£300 Sept £112.41 /£300

Just a quick catch up - I've been doing surveys sb, spoints, and everything since I last posted.
Savvy - I'm sorry to hear it still hadn't tracked. Yours too Jedi.
Claire - well done on the new machine, I bet that's a relief, but I hate catching up with all the washing and ironing afterwards
Milla - Put it this way hun. Things can't get any worse. Try and think positive - the only way is up.So sorry to hear about your grandchild though - poor little thing.
Mum2one - yay
Hollie - well done on all your couponing etc. I thought I did quite well, but I'm a total amateur to you.
Chel - I was thinking of you earlier.DD was playing with her Lalaloopsies - what's their tagline? Sew Magical, Sew Cute. Now I know where you got your inspiration from. :rotfl:
Emma - did you actually book it, or was you just looking? It's great to have something to aim for. How lovely.
Rufus - you can't tell these kids can you? They think they know it all. I would be firm, like someone else said, and say she can't leave unless she has a job to go to. It's not only for your benefit, but it's for her own good too. Let us know how you get on.
Has anyone seen Michelle posting anywhere today? I hope she's alright.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Evening everyone.
Elysia sorry for making you worry hon. It has just been one of those busy days. Took Murphy for a long walk, been doing stuff in the house and had my annual MOT with the nurse this afternoon. So I have been trying to fit in money making round it, but not a lot about today.
Superpoints just thought you would all love to hear I got paid today. I requested $10 into paypal last Tuesday night, and it was with me at teatime, and came to £6.31.
I saw Emma's chat about hols, so I had a quick look at center parcs to see if I could think about booking it for october half term week as a surprise for the kids, but it was £1500. No way. Left me feeling a bit deflated as all around friends are booking stuff and I feel skint. Never mind.
I was also working out my earnings for SA for the tax man, and it was a pitiful £300 for the whole of the tax year. So the last part of the year I made about £1800. Pretty impressive. I just need to file details online.
Loving the talk about shops today. I need to sort myself out with the knitting. I realistically have no free time at the moment. I spend all day running round after the kids or sorting the pets and house. I can't get time to finish the many projects I have on the go already. I do want to do it in the longer term. I'll get there.0 -
You'll get there hun. I've been saying I'll do it for years, I've got the shop up and running, and finally added a pic, but by the time I went to photograph my stuff today, the light had gone, so I'll have to do it tomorrow now.
You certainly did very well last year Michelle - That's brilliant news. Well done on the payment too. It all adds up. I did well on Spoints today - I must have got points about 8 times, instead of my usual one or two.
How's Murphy coming along? I bet it feels like he's been part of the family forever now.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Evening, have lost all motivation now, done loads of rating today and managed to get through a survey on vo finally as everything else was kicking me out, up to £9.25 on vo and half way on sb. Getting annoyed as discussed th holiday I found with oh and he wants to go, explained we would really need to watch what we are doing with money ten minutes later he went to the shop and whilst there had to buy a can of energy drink even though he had a can of coke in the car and was only out ten minutes ARGH. I give up he doesn't listen and just doesn't seem to understand it is just a waste of money. To get to Disneyland Florida 20160

I noticed you did well hon. My balance went up too. I am over 550 again already in 6 days, so I am hoping superpoints will be a good one this year as long as my little army of spinners keep spinning.
Murphy is doing well. He took me on a real power walk. For a little fella, we had some pace while we were out, but then again, he spent the rest of the day snoozing while I was still running round. He's comical.
Yes, it is hard to believe we have only had him 2 months. It was strangest leaving him with my mum when we went away, as otherwise he is with me most of the time. I only leave him at bedtime and for the school run, and he is always cuddled up to one of us. I am certainly glad I got him, and the money from here helped with that too. The walk was lovely today - bit of sunshine and half hour of fresh air and free thought.0
